Very hot room, couldn't turn on the A/C and this was in april! Ok breakfast although it was very busy.

Very good location close to Metro and Nevsky. Newly renovated and very clean. Nice breakfast. Highly recommended considering the cost.

Quality is not 5 star, but good enough. And when prices are not bad, price/quality ratio is good

It's a great hotel, nice staff, and good breakfast. It's very clean and tidy. There's a bar with smoking area, other areas are smoke free. The beds are good compared to other hotels. The Nevski Prospekt (the main boulevard) is a 5 min walk even as the entrance of the subway. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Stayed 3 nights in this newly renovated hotel in central St. Petersburg. + Everything was very clean and there was still "the smell of new" + Renovated with good taste and quality materials + Staff spoke fairly good English + Free safe deposit boxes in each room (set your own pin) + They had good A/C which is nice in Summer + really comfortable lounges […] in each floor + free WiFi + small supermarket downstairs and another opposite the building + only 400m to metro stations (you're going to use it as car travel is a nightmare in St. Pete) - Breakfast buffet was just OK with quite limited selection. They could make a big difference by adding few tomato slices and lettuce. Despite narrow selection breakfast was at least average level in central European standards. If coming from Scandinavian countries one would be slightly disappointed (Sokos, Scandic, etc. beat this breakfast many times while room prices are quite same). - Not to say it's hotels fault, but there were quite a few drunken people on the nearby streets after dark. That makes walking alone a bit uncomfortable even though this area is one of the safest in the whole city. In Russia one just needs to comply with this. Funniest thing was that the street workers on duty were the most vodka-floored of all people... :) However, there is no reason to be afraid of the downsides I mentioned. One pays attention to tiny details when all other things are excellent. In conclusion, this is highly recommended hotel! Very tidy and New. Close to MTR.

It was really hot in the room. Typical russian heating, you have to let it out of the window. Electrical contols had no effect. Otherwise I recommend hotel. Good value for the money

Great stay at 5th Corner. Well located for the city sights and train station, and the price was excellent. Breakfast was a good selection, and the downstairs restaurant served great food for dinner. Room was comfortable, clean and tidy. Very happy with our stay here :)

We found the hotel to be very comfortable with a great breakfast,courteous staff and close to the subway(metro 400metres) Internet worked well and great common areas on each floor would definitely recommend for freinds to stay here . No lift but strong young men on staff to carry the luggage up.

The Fifth Corner Hotel is clean, comfortable and good value for money. Don't be put off by the road works outside or the general appearance of the area. The area felt quite safe and, once inside the building, the hotel is modern and the rooms are perfectly adequate. In a country not particularly renowned for its customer care, Liliana is a treasure and a perfect example of how welcoming guests should be done. The hotel has a nice restaurant attached where the food is tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfasts are unexciting but more than sufficient to set you up for the day. As other reviewers have said, the hotel lacks a lift, which is possibly a problem for anyone staying on the higher floors. We were just one floor up so it didn't really bother us. The hotel will provide someone to help with your luggage if you request this. There are metro stations within a few minutes walk, several supermarkets nearby and a good selection of cafes and restaurants at hand. All in all, this hotel is a good choice if you are happy to be in a more authentic district of St Petersburg and a short distance away from the major tourist sights on Nevskiy Prospect. 더 보기

We checked about 20 hotels before we decided to book the 5th Corner. This is thanks to Tripadvisor's reviews which were not as conflicting are those of the other hotels. The staff were extremely helpful. They organised a pick-up from the airport for 1300R and did the registration on the spot for 300R (for 2). They also gave us (for free) the anti-mosquito […] plug when we mentioned the problem.The room we had under the roof was spacious and extremely clean. Climbing 4/5 floors wasn't a challenge for my partner and I who are well over 60. The buffet breakfast offers plenty of food to have. The location of the hotel is ideal as it gives the opportunity to discover the non-touristic part of St Petersburg. Walking to the Hermitage and all other main historic sites was enjoyable and easy. It's not as far as it looks on the map. Public transport is cheap and straightfoward. It's something to do if one has the time. Some tube stations are like museums with marble walls, paintings and chandeliers. The only thing we were unhappy about is St Petersburg's restaurants - quality often below average, small quantities and expensive. We still had a wonderful time. 더 보기

Very large room, very nicely appointed. Awesome breakfast. No elevator...we were 5th floor, which after a day of walking was tough!! About 30 minute walk to Hermitage.

We paid for an airconditioned room, but after numerous checking after the hotel staff; they finally said it was not an airconditioned room. Of course, we had to wait to talk to the manager. The manager was never available. After 4 days of waiting, we were switched to an air conditioned room. The pipes turned out leaking so half of the room, including […] our luggages were in water. just 5 minutes walk to metro, very great location. However, the entrance is difficult to find. we took 10 minutes to find the entrance as there is no sign or name of hotel in English. good breakfast provided.

Apart from the fact that the taxi driver nearly gave us a heart attack because of the difficulty in locating this hotel, we found our stay at the hotel very enjoyable. From the outside the hotel looks a little decrepit. However, once you are inside, this changes. The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the restaurant […] within the hotel served adequate food. The drawback is that if you arrrive by train from Helsinki, you are on the opposite side of the river to the station. Relying on taxi drivers and not knowing the language, we had difficulties in returning to the station. The taxi driver did not want to take us, but he had agreed with the hotel to do so. He ran us into every traffic jam and took us the long way, with the result that despite allowing ourselvers 1.5 hours to catch the train, he took 2 hours to get there. We missed the train but luckily we were able to get another one that day. If we could not do so, we would have overstayed our visas and would have been in all sorts of trouble. Arriving by air or by train from Moscow would make this hotel suitable. I am not criticising the hotel but the unsuitability because of logistics from our point of view. 더 보기

We really enjoyed this hotel except for the fact that they have no lifts and the stairs climbs were really difficult

Party composition: 3 Americans and 1 Ukrainian. The staff was extremely helpful. We had a Russian speaker in our party, so that helped, but they spoke English well and could communicate with all of us. We had many questions, and they answered all of them willingly and well. There were some troubles with Wi-Fi, so we had no Internet access at the hotel […] for most of the stay. First, I think this was a temporary issue and they intend to do something about it. Second, it's not a big deal at all, because there is a cafe with free Wi-Fi literally across the street. The exterior of many adjoining buildings was not beautiful, but any initial appearances that the area might be unsafe are deceiving. The entire inside of the hotel building was very nice. The location was quite good. A couple short blocks away, the metro was available. Traveling by metro was clean, safe, and extremely convenient. It's easy to reach all locations and attractions in the center of the city. Overall, we're very satisfied. We will stay there again, and we would recommend it highly to others. 더 보기

The hotel was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious even though it was the same every day. They refilled the buffet continuously--very nice. The beds were the twin-king type so we had two mattresses and a crack in the middle--same as all of Europe. The bed duvet was warm, but the hotel temp was so high we had […] to open the window. There is a good minibar but the staff told us a tiny grocery right next door with lower prices and good selection. The internet connection only functioned once for half an hour. However, there was a coffee house with wi-fi across the street which had a good menu, American coffee, and a non-smoking section. The staff and restaurant help all spoke English well and were helpful and attentive. The only drawback is the lack of an elevator with our luggage for a 13 day trip. 2 blocks from Metro and bus lines made it great for touring. We would stay there again if we ever planned to come back. The hotel restaurant Xren, was good. There is another restaurant in the basement of the hotel--Ukrainian food and a free folk show, but not easy to order if you don't know the food names. FYI if you go in the winter months, you DEFINITELY need warm boots. Many streets had big patches of ice and walking was challenging, even when we were there in March. None of the tourist destinations was crowded, though. We got right in even to the Hermitage and had no trouble seeing every exhibit we hoped to see. The city and Peterhof are amazing and the history of Russia seems to come alive in this former capital. We also felt pretty safe at all hours of the day and night in this neighborhood. 더 보기

Fifth Corner Hotel was in an excellent location. It's a very clean and nicely decorated hotel. The wi-fi worked as well as any I had in Russia the entire trip and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the a.m. was first rate and they even fixed a "to go" box for me when I had to catch a flight out early. Located 5 to 10 minutes walk from Nevsky Prospekt with several bars and restaurants even closer. There is also a 24 hour shop just across the street. Hotel is about 10 minutes from Nevsky Prospect; short cut is to go up Rubenstien Street--which has lots of options for dinner. Hotel is good but fairly basic which is fine because who goes to SP to be in the room, neighborhood not as bad as may first appear, but you can't beat for the price. The room was large and comfortable but provided only the bare minimum in terms of furnishing and made little use of the space of the room. We opted to upgrade to a premium room bu there was no obvious improvement from a standard room. It's a shame that they could have made so much more of such a large room. The dinner menu was mainly Western food, but did inlcude some Russian specialities, however it is on the expensive side. The hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes walk from both the train station and Nevsky Prospect and within 5 minutes of the metro. On to the negatives- of which there are several and are really quite basic. On arrival, its quite difficult to locate the hotel because there is a complete lack of signage on the front of the building or on the door- it only mentions the restaurant. The reception is on the 1st loor and again, there are no signs to indicate this. In addition, the hotel doesn't have a lift, but also no bell boy on the ground floor to help with your luggage. The friendly helpful staff is what made my stay at this hotel a pleasant one. It's in located in a nice part of St Petersburg, and was a nice walk to the major the attractions. Room, cleaniliness, etc, were al in great condition.

Hotel agréable, disposant du confort moderne, où nous avons été bien reçus. Petits soucis avec le chauffage de nos chambres (en février!), qui a été rapidement résolu par la mise à disposition de petits chauffages électriques d'appoint. Seul inconvénient (majeur pour nous) pour un hotel d'affaires: la mise à disposition d'un seul code d'accès au wifi […] de l'hotel alors que nous étions 5 et avions deux chambres ... A part cela, personnel aimable et disponible, petit déjeuner copieux mais dont la variété meriterait d'être etoffée. Proche du métro et de la perspective Nevski, localisation centrale très appréciable. L'un dans l'autre, un bon choix (surtout au prix raisonnable que nous avions obtenu sur le site). Veldlig bra hotell. Mangler heis og det var veldig varmt på rommet, men beliggenheten var perfekt. Rett ved metro og få stasjoner til de fleste severdighetere. Vi er veldig fornøyde.

но далековато от музеев и набережной Невы. Довольно сильный раздражающий фактор - отсутствие нормального освещения в номере и в ресторане - полумрак, устают глаза, особенно, когда за окном мало солнца. Рядом находится довольно неплохой ресторан Кристофф с живой ненавязчивой музыкой, напротив кафе, можно пообедать и поужинать рядом с отелем. В самом же здании ресторан Шинок с украинской кухней и народными песнями. Сам отель довольно хороший. Для тех, кто приехал раньше есть возможность оставить багаж в специальной комнате рядом с ресепшн, что очень […] удобно: не надо носить с собой вещи по городу. Завтраки на твердую 4: яичница, сосиски, колбасы, сыры, йогурты, мюсли, хлопья, чай, кофе, фрукты, овсяная каша. Номер просторный, в теплых тонах, с сейфом. Из минусов, пожалуй, можно только отметить несильный запах канализации :( и слишком мягкие матрасы. В ванной комнате нет шампуня, только жидкое мыло. Жили в отеле на ноябрьские праздники. Из хорошего: - удобное расположение (5 мин от Невского, 2 мин от метро) - удобная планировка номеров, приятная обстановка; Из не очень хорошего: - нет лифта (наш номер был на 5 этаже); - вайфай платный. Ребята из отеля, если читаете этот отзыв - ну бросьте вы эти глупости. Это крайне неудобно и дело даже не в цене. […] Включите стоимость вашего интернета в стоимость номера. Замаскируйте. Это небольшая наценка, зато сможете писать с полной ответственностью что интернет у вас в отеле бесплатный. - с нами вместе отдыхали друзья. У них в номере был светлый ковролин, на котором видимо уже ничем не смываемые отпечатки обуви. Менять такой ковролин к чертовой матери! Имейте к себе уважение. 더 보기

第一次去有点难找，其实只要认准橘红色的招牌就找到了。酒店还不错，床不大，但是很舒服，卫生间也很干净。只是没有电梯，拎着行李爬5楼有点累。早餐很简单，但是味道还可以。离费拉基米尔地铁站很近，周边有很多鞋店可以逛逛。

Sehr gute Lage, 200m von der Metro entfernt und direkt neben dem Hotel befindet sich ein 24h-Shop. Auch zur öffentlichen Sauna gelangt man innert 10min. Fussmarsch. Geheimtipp ist das Gregorianische Restaurant in St. Petersburg - einfach danach Fragen.

Leider muss man in diesem Hotel für alles extra bezahlen. Wir mussten für das Einladungsschreiben zahlen und vor Ort mussten wir noch mal zahlen für die Meldung des Aufenthaltes. Wir waren 1 Woche davor in Moskau in einem anderen Hotel und mussten für beide Leistungen nichts zursätzlich bezahlen. Ansonst ist das Hotel von der Lage ganz gut und auch […] rel. sauber (nur das WC war nicht sauber). Das Hotel hat ein modernes Erscheinungsbild wobei mir persönlich die dunkel grauen Wände im Zimmer nicht gefallen haben. Weiters muss man beachten das das Hotel keinen Lift hat u. das Zimmer auch im 3 Stock liegen kann. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend jedoch jeden Tag das Gleich. Ansonst hat man sich im Allgem. bemüht und war freundlich und hat auch s. gut Englisch gesprochen in diesem Hotel. Leider war jedoch ein früher Check-in nicht möglich und auch ein späterer Check-out funkt. auch nicht. Für nur 2 Sterne ist das Hotel absolut in Ordnung und empfehlenswert. Ich würde es wieder buchen wenn ich einen Aufenthalt in St. Petersburg plane. 더 보기

Были в отеле в сентябре 2011г. В целом отель хороший, просторный номер (у нас был люкс), удобное расположение, мин 5 ходьбы до метро Владимирская или Достоевская, до Невского также не далеко. Бесплатная парковка автомобиля во дворе отеля. Неплохой завтрак в ресторане Хрен. Из недостатков - отсутствие лифта.

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed on when I've visited St. Petersburg. The location is good, just a short walk from Nevsky prospekt and a even shorter walk to the metro station. Die Lage ist sehr gut, 10 Minuten zum Newski-Prospekt, 5 Minuten bis zur nä. Metro. Das Hotel ist sauber und der Service gut. Nicht so gefallen hat das Frühstück, aber im Hotelumfeld gibt es viele Kaffee`s wo man günstig und gut frühstücken kann.
