좋은 호텔임은 분명합니다. 허나, 처음 들어간 객실에 전기쿡탑이 안되서 객실을 바꿨고, 원래 룸보다 한단계 더 높은 객실이었는데, 객실크기나 침대 크기가 작았습니다. 직원들은 굉장히 캐쥬얼하고, 친철하게 다가왔습니다. 그러나 만약 다음에 기회가 된다면 시내 중심가, 플린더스스트리트역 부근에 호텔을 잡을까합니다. 아무리 10분 내외 거리지만, 이동하는데 불편함이 있고, sky bus를 이용해서 공항에서 시내까지 올경우 이 호텔은 South Yarra에 있어 직통으로 호텔까지 가지 않고, 버스 이용 후 지하철을 따로 이용해야하는 불편함이 있었습니다.(여행준비할때는 몰랐네요) 멜버른은 시내 중심가가 작고 걸어서 돌아다닐수있을만큼 […] 잘되어있기 때문에 다음에는 시내중심에서 묵고싶습니다. 저같은 여행자의 경우 위치가 아쉽습니다. 더 보기

반대: 있어야 하는 곳에 등이 없을 뿐 더러 꺼야 할 스위치도 없습니다. 히터와 에어콘이 부실하고 비능률적입니다.(객실 한 쪽은 완전히 뜨겁고 다른 쪽은 완전히 차갑습니다.) 전화는 어떤 객실에서도 안되고 인터넷도 그렇습니다. 찬성:크고, 깨끗하며 조용한 객실. 보기에 아름답습니다.

접객 직원은 호의적이고 주의 깊으며 호텔 위치는 실제로 환상적인 지역에 있습니다. 간이 주방과 알맞은 냉장고가 무척 좋았는데 트집 잡을 만 한 것은 필수품들이 매일 채워지지 않는다는 것입니다. 티백, 세척기 세제 등등.

호텔은 매우 새롭고 좋은 방과 객실이 있으며 위치는 쇼핑과 시내를 걸어서 가기에 아주 편리했습니다. 여기 머무는 동안 후회하지 않을 것입니다. !!! 멜버른으로 다시 돌아와 여기에서 머물기를 고대합니다.

Really enjoyed both our lovely room, feather pillows, very comfortable king size beds-one each, what luxury. Underground secure parking was a bonus. Only disappointment was a request for an extra blanket that took two days to come!

A great boutique hotel in South Yarra. I found the staff friendly and the room very comfortable. My only complaint is that the pool is a bit small and the half enclosed space it is in is not great in winter though I can imagine it being fantastic for summer...as long as only a few people are using it.

Except from a lot of dark pubic hair left on the light bathroom floor from the last guest of the room I guess??? everything was nice, the room was great and with wifi access and the hotel has a nice heated outdoor swimmingpool.. and it is situated at fantastic Chapel St in Prahan with lots of shopping, restaurants, bars and cinemas and a short tram […] ride to St. Kilda Beach and Melbourne center.. 더 보기

good service, clean and chic ambience paid extra for the room with balcony but both room and balcony are a lot smaller than expected, photos on website is a little deceiving.

the room looks good, but just could be better. no toothpaste, no business center in the whole hotel which shocks me a bit, the TV set's angle made my neck sore coz i love to watch tv in bed, bed light is not bright enough for reading...but other than these, it's quite comfy. staff could be more friendly... so it's slightly better than OK.

We were overall happy with The Olsen, it's position, room size and cleanliness. The negatives were small but housekeeping was careless when servicing our room- some days the rubbish bins were emptied others it was not, as with the tea/coffee facility some days it was replenished others it was not and while we paid for self parking, when we used our […] car we found the car park full on return. 2nd time staying here and we love it.....great hotel and exceptional value

This was such a beautiful hotel, great amenities, and so comfortable. I wasn't a huge fan of the neighborhood (because this was my first time to Melbourne, I would have preferred downtown in hindsight), but I would stay at a hotel like The Olsen any day. For the price, it was an incredibly good value. While I said I wasn't a huge fan of the neighborhood, […] one plus is that Melbourne has one of the most amazing transportation systems in the world and the tram is a block away from the hotel -- so it's easy to get places. The neighborhood is a stylish up-and-coming suburb of the city. As Americans, the dollar being at parity with the Aussie dollar was a hard pill to swallow. So, it was great having a kitchen in our studio. We made our own breakfasts as there was a market across the street. There was considerable savings there for us because everything in Australia is much more expensive compared to pricing the US. Staff was very pleasant and room was well maintained. 더 보기

Although The Olsen has a 5 star rating I don't believe it really lives up to the rating it has been given. Several factors made my partner and I leave a little disappointed. Firstly, on arrival our room was not ready, and we had to wait for another room to be prepared. They did have about 1 month to prepare it! Secondly, whenever the cleaner cleaned […] the room they would forget to refill the toilet paper, so on at least one occasion there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Thirdly, prior to swimming in the pool we phoned reception to ensure there were some towels available in the pool area. They informed us that there were. When we went for a swim we discovered that there were no towels at all and had to chase someone down a reception (i.e jump in the elevator and down two levels) to ask for replacement towels. Fourthly, late one night we ordered pasta from the room service menu and when it arrived it didn't have shaved parmesan as promised and the pasta was similar to canned crushed tomatoes from a can over plain pasta, not great value for $18. Although these seem to be minor they all add up and considering the 5 star rating we were expecting service that was a little higher. On the positive, the staff were helpful and friendly especially on arrival. This is a great hotel in terms of design, room style, comfort, amenities. Even staff are friendly. Great location right beside the trams into city and down to happening neighborhoods. The concierge desk almost always empty though - so had to resort to asking directions from front desk staff and that was hit/miss. The one bothering thing was how the […] housecleaning staff cleaned (or didn't clean!) the bathroom! Very superficial/cosmetic as if they are rushing. When I checked in, there was pieces of gunk in the sunk (underneath the stopper), and in the shower, that never was taken away until my last day even ! This hotel is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Olsen. We stayed for 4 nights. Check-in was really easy, although it would have been nice to have better public transportation guidance on their website. The hotel staff, especially the concierge, were all extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are all modern and clean, with a great […] kitchenette. The ensuite bathrooms are not very private - only a thin frosted glass separates the shower / toilet from the bed. If you don't mind that, I would definitely recommend booking here. The location is really great - just a short walk to the river or Prahran market / Chapel St. shops. A 10-minute train ride takes you into the CBD. The restaurant downstairs, Blue Bottle, was once of the best we ate at during our stay in Australia. The food was great, but the service was a little stagnant once things got busy. The only let down of the entire stay was the manager of this restaurant, who was a bit pompous, especially when he didn't believe at first that we were staying at the hotel and wanted to charge the mail to our stay at the hotel.
