We wanted 2 queens or 2 dbls instead of sofa bed which teen daughters found uncomfortable. A room with 2 beds was unavailable. The included breakfast was adequate, but I wished there was fruit as well. The service in the restaurant was not cordial. Very Nice Hotel, Friendly staff, nice pool, complimentary breakfast included. We were visiting Binghampton University, it was a few miles away. The surrounding town was ok. The hotel is going to become a Doubletree Hotel by next year. Hotel room was comfy and clean. Nice beds and bathroom.

Very friendly. Room was nice, bed was comfy, but obvious someone had smoked in it before. Breakfast very good.

We had a wonderful stay at the Riverwalk in Binghamton. The lobby is lovely, the restaurant charming (cloth napkins at breakfast! Bravo!). The staff is warm and welcoming -- we love Kim at the front desk! She was helpful and kind, qualities we appreciate. Wish we had had time to use the workout facilities and the pool. We will definitely go back.

This is the second time i stayed at this hotel. Both times, I thououghly enjoyed the friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is clean, even while remodeling is being done. Reasonable rates, nice breakfast and nice neighborhood.

great hotel and close to our concert

Upside -GREAT workout facility/pool -staff was helpful, friendly, & v accomodating -Clean, modern looking, attractive interior Downside -"business" center a desk out in the open in lobby -breakfast so-so to me, not many options

The rooms were clean thats about it the restuarant didnt have half of the food on the very small menu and the complimentary breakfast of stale bagels and muffin and expired yogurt was a joke. The pool is nice if the public fitness center which is owned by the hotel, isnt using it for lessons or water aerobics. Staff was for the most part friendly except […] for fitness center. Neighbor hood is the "ghetto" of binghamton according to the locals had police in parking lots all night for security of your vehicles. 더 보기

The hotel was fine; the continential breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful whenever we had questions, including directions. Our only complaint was that the heating unit was very loud. We finally shut off the heat in order to sleep.

Very nice hotel, would def stay again!! The evening staff were very pleaseant and we really enjoyed our stay. the pool/hot tub were also very nice!

The hotel was in a nice location, I asked for a high floor and the numerous times assured me my request would be met. I was also told I could check in at 1:30pm. I arrived at 2:00pm and they said the best they had was a 2nd floor and if I wanted 8-10, to come back at 4:00. I wandered the city and came back at 4:00 and told they only had a 4th floor […] room available. It wasn't a huge deal, but I asked for this over a week in advance and was guaranteed it. The room was poorly sealed from the outside, a draft was continuous felt through the room. The room never reached above 70degrees. 4 floors ice machines we broken, so I had to go to the 8th floor to get ice. The TV was nice, cable was ok, unless you don't like sports, 8 of the 40 channels we sports and 5 were HSN(ish) I think the hotel has come under new ownership in the last few years and that could have attributed to the lack of excellence. I think a mini-fridge in the room would have helped a lot too. 더 보기

This was a very enjoyable stay and we would choose this hotel again when visiting our relatives.

This hotel was very nice. The pool was nice and the gym was pretty cool. The spa was nice and warm but the jets were unfortunatly broken at the time :( Overall the hotel was nice, but one bad review the pillows and the bed were way too soft my husband, son and I were unable to sleep because the beds were just toooooo soft.

Nice hotel. Questionable location - looks a little ''geto'' like. We were only overnighting so ok for one night. But no heat in our room - unit was broken. Hotel gona have a whole overhall. All rooms are going to be redone. Needs it. Not that close to highway. Staff is friendly restaurant is good nice decor good service.

I booked this because it said the hotel was renovated; however, the individual rooms have NOT been renovated as yet. My first room the heating system kept me awake most of the night so I asked for a new room WITH A RIVER VIEW. Older hotels have very big rooms and this one is no exception. Hotel is not in the best neighborhood, but is convenient to the interstate and downtown. Pool and gym are fantastic, and the room was clean and comfortable. A great deal, with very friendly and helpful staff.

Fitness Area is much better than any other hotel I have ever used.

The hotel was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The fitness center included a lap pool and excellent equipment. The hotel borders the chenango river and the Riverwalk which offers a lovely morning stroll. The hotel is within a block or two from boscov's, a large department store, and several good […] restaurants and diners. Came to Binghamton for a get a way weekend. Hotel was located in the heart of down town and on the river front. Plenty of free parking and very helpful staff. The noise from the hallway was audable in the room but it quited down by 10:30pm. WOuld recommend this to anyone who needs a quick get a way or has business todo in Binghamton.

flood damage seems to have been repaired. Continental breakfast was not up to rest of hotel's standards. Folks behind the counter were really good going the extra mile to ensure our stay was worthy.

The Hotel is due to go through a complete refit over the winter and none too soon. The wall paper was peeling and the tiles in the bathroom were broken and cracked. The bed linens had a musty smell and the edges of the carpet were not clean. We understand that the flooding issues could have caused some of the issues but still. The work out facility […] was good. Very friend staff

We were upset with the hotel when we were not told that the pool was not yet opern, due to the flood. Our grandchildren were with us and they were looking forward to swimming.

The hotel was very nice, comfy room and bed, most of the staff was friendly and helpful, check in was easy. The only complaint I have about this place is that the continental breakfast was absolutely pathetic. For the room rate and general atmosphere I expected much better. This was barely cheap motel quality, just coffee, juice, and 3 different poor […] quality pastry choices. I asked a nearby staff member if there was tea, and he did get me one after a bit of resistance, and informed me that they don't keep hot water out with the breakfast but have tea if asked. That was fine, except a lot of people would just assume if it's not out there, it's not available. Staff weren't exactly standing at the ready to answer breakfast questions. A simple sign would cover that one. Overall a fine stay, but breakfast was unfortunate, and may affect my decision to stay there next time. 더 보기

Overall this hotel was lovely. Large room, quality bedding, nice carpet. A sign said they were in the process of renovating, which appeared to be done with new flat screen tv and carpeting. However, the bathroom was in dire need of updating. The faucets were sticky and made a horrible noise every time you turned it on. Likewise, the shower faucet dripped. In […] addition, the hotel offered a free continental breakfast, which is always nice. I have been to many of these and I have to say this one was the most pathetic attempt I have ever seen. The breakfast consisted of a choice of muffins or danishes. There were no bagels, or English muffins or even toast or bread of any kind. You had no choice but to consume a load of sugar. the place is not the lap of luxury. the bathrooms are clean, the public spaces are nice and the people who work there aim to please.

This hotel is modern and clean and what little interaction I had with the staff was very pleasant. It has by far the best complimentary work out facilities I have ever encountered in a hotel. It has a wide range of work-out machines and weights along with a pool, sauna,jaccuzzi, locker room etc. The continental breakfast was quite lame with sub par […] coffee, only orange juice and poor box donuts and muffins. Overall, the hotel was good. I had hoped there would be more activity inside the hotel. There was no real gift shop. The continental breakfast was laughable. The hotel was ok but the room next door to us ordered room service and put their dirty dishes in the hallway. When we woke up the next morning it was still there from ten o'clock the night before. Also, toilet didn't flush well.
