We stayed at this hotel to catch the Phillies/Pirates game. The hotel is directly across the street from PNC park. We got there early after a 6 hr drive, and was able to check in early. Staff very friendly, room was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

went and stay'd St. Patrick's Day weekend, everything was fantastic. room was very clean all new, when i got into bed that night i could still smell the dryer sheets. will totally stay again!!!!

The room was lovely. Staff friendly. Breakfast choices were good for a quick bite. Perfect if your coming with kids to see a baseball or football game. My only complaint was the bed. I felt it was too hard and a bit uncomfortable but that my just be my prefeence. Overall would stay at a Marriott Residence Inn again.

I recently stayed there with 2 friends of mine for a Steelers game. The room we were in was spacious with a full kitchen , king bed and a pull out sofa. It is a couple blocks from the stadium and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. I grew up in Pittsburgh and the North Side was not a very desireable location to be at for a long time. This is a great hotel in a very convenient location. We were in Pittsburgh for a Steelers game at Heinz Field. It was within walking distance to the stadium and is located right across the street from PNC park if you plan on hitting a Pirates game. Stayed here after a Pens victory with many other fans. Easy to get to and from, spacious rooms, good service, and clean from top to bottom. My only complaints are that you have to pay $18.00 to park overnight in their lot, and I could not get cold enough in the room that night. Our recent stay at Residence Inn North Shore was fantastic! The room was very spacious almost like a small apartment, even had a full kitchen! We came for a Pirates game and the last fireworks of the season and our room had an excellent view of the front of PNC Park. We left the game early and watched the fireworks right from our room! The continental […] breakfast in the morning was way beyond what we had expected, the food selection was amazing, way better than other hotels we have stayed at in Pittsburgh. Our room was very neat and clean and the staff was very friendly, greeting you when you arrived and saying good morning when you came down for breakfast. came into town for a Pitt daygame/Pirates night game. The hotel is literally across the street from PNC Park and a few minutes walk to Heinz Field so its super convenient in that you can walk to everything and avoid traffic. Based our decision on others who reviewed this new hotel in the "sports district" (Norfth Shore) of Pittsburgh. It is located across from PNC Park and within a short walk to Heinz Field. First time staying in this area ... and found it convenient to walk a bridge into the City or along the refurbished river shore. Nice job ... congrats to the City! […] Besides the easy walk ... you can opt for the hotel shuttle ... couresty to destinations within 3 miles they said. Drivers were excellent ... Craig and Randy. In fact, service was Outstanding among ALL the hotel personnel ... Heather especially at the front desk! It wasn't Ritz in character ... much warmer and personable! Perfect for our family visit. The only "distraction" was the $18/nite parking fee ... extra for my daughter who drove in to visit us. So each car is $18/nite. There are other cheaper public lots nearby but we were so satisfied with the hotel, we didn't bother to check those out. Besides, we felt the great shuttle service offset our parking to some degree. Highly recommend this place ... would be certain to consider it again for an overall great experience in Pittsburgh!! 더 보기

Hotel was very nice! A few small complaints...no restaurant/lounge in the hotel. We had a torrential downpour right at dinnertime and had to walk somewhere to get dinner (all restaurants were a block or more away) so we were soaked! The Stationary Lap Pool was rather disappointing.... I expected the type that you swim against the "current", there was […] none and there were kids using it like a regular pool (although it was way too small for that!) and jumping in and running around. No way to actually swim laps! Staff was not very friendly, especially in the breakfast buffet area. We notified them that the orange juice was out and got shrugged shoulders, like, "oh well". Front desk staff was not ready for check in giving the excuse that "everyone wanted to check in early today". They offered no information on shuttles, etc. A guest asked for an umbrella during the torrential rain to go to dinner and the girl hunted for a few minutes and then just shrugged her shoulders. Rooms were beautiful and clean however the towels were hard to find behind the shower room door. Stay was OK but for the money, I wouldn't stay there again. 더 보기

The Residence Inn of Pittsburgh is everything a hotel should be. Comfortable and clean and within walking distance to Heinz Field, the Riverfront, and directly across the street from PNC Park. The rooms were immaculate, as was the kitchen efficiency area (very convenient when waking up too early for the continental breakfast). The breakfast in the morning […] looked top-notch, but on my second day we slept in and arrived just minutes late. Be there well before 10 a.m. The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. While Pittsburgh was sweltering on the days we were there, the entire hotel, including our room, was wonderfully icy! No problem with the a/c here! I plan to use this hotel exclusively when I am in town. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay such a pleasant one. We were in town to shoot a scene for The Dark Knight Rises at Heinz Field, and after a long day on set, it was a pleasure to return to the hotel. Excellent location for PNC Park. We had suite with full kitchen, king bed and fold out sofa. Bed very comfortable and the fold out was also. Well equipped kitchen and very attractive decor. Loved our stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious...sofa bed was an added bonus. Hotel was across the street from PNC Park, excellent for baseball trips. We didn't have enough time to make use of the shuttle but it would take you to many of Pittsburgh's sights.

It is a fairly new hotel. We stayed there to go to a Pirates game. Rooms were very roomy. Liked that the sink was separate from tub/toilet. Had a nice kitchen, though we didn't need it. Staff was extremely outgoing and helpful!. They have a shuttle sevice that will take you any where within a 3 mile radius. Breakfast was nice. Hotel was right next to PNC park, shuttle service was great. Staff was very friendly and professional. The room was awesome, very comfortable. Love it and will be back.

We were really happy with the Residence Inn's 2 bedroom suites. Everything in room was very clean and the linens seemed fairly new. It was perfect for a family of 4 because it allowed the parents privacy and ability to stay up after the kids are asleep. We were within 10-15 minutes from everything we needed to do in the city. The downside is that I […] look out the bedroom window right at PNC Park. There were no games the weekend I was there, so there wasn't a privacy or noise issue. My associate and I booked the 2 bedroom apartment to save on costs. Outstanding rooms, with great views (our rooms looked down on the "Home Plate" entrance at PNC Park). Beds were comfortable, wireless internet was strong, free breakfast was a 4 out of 5 stars. Can't beat it for convenience. Brand new hotel was very modern, bright , clean, and had good amenities. They offered a great complimentary breakfast of both hot and cold foods and it was different every day of our stay. We had trouble finding the hotel and the hotel website said map not available so we used GPS. It was over a half an hour winding around the neighborhood of one way streets. When we spotted it we were so happy but the entrance to the parking is barely marked until you see it driving by. We took a right turn to see if there was a second entrance and were […] immediately placed on a highway that we could not exit from. So we spent another 20 minutes trying to get back into town. 1. Directions and a map 2. Have the entrance marked so you can see it coming down the street. With so much traffic there is not always a chance to stop and turn. 더 보기

This is a brand new hotel that opened sometime around March 2010. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and it was very clean. The beds could have been a little more comfortable and there were no sheets for the sofa bed. What we didn't know is that it is directly across from PNC park, the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. There aren't many resteraunts around, […] except for SOHO, which is in the Marriott across the parkng lot and was super expensive. We were in room 305 and every evening at about dark, they turned on the outside lights. There was a HUGE light on a little roof directly below our window (it was so close that we could have touched it if the windows would have opened) that was pointed directly at or window. I would request not to have that room based on that stupid light, it was VERY bright and came through the curtains. The breakfast was okay, not the best and the breakfast staff were not very nice. I asked for orange juice and you would have thought that I had asked for a million dollars. This is a smoke free hotel, so I met alot of the staff while outside the hotel smoking. The general manager and the housekeeping manager were both extremely nice and very helpful. They gave us better directions that the front desk staff did. The important thing to know if you are staying here is that the entrance is very easy to miss and if you do miss it, you can't turn around because of all of the one way streets. You can't even loop around, you end back on an interstate, heading in the wrong direction. It took us about 20 minutes to make it back. You have to drive through the small tunnel on the side of the building. If you aren't watching for it, it's easy to miss. 더 보기
