Good but free breakfast was below average

The front desk personnel were not friendly. Hotel was clean.

My son and I were looking for a place to stay while visiting friends over the holidays. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the free wifi was quick. My son enjoyed jumping around in the indoor pool at Christmastime, but the best thing was the snacks. Hotel was very clean with excellent service. Stayed for 9 nights on business trip. Only problem was the key cards to get into the room that had to be recoded daily because they would quit working.

Very new hotel property, very clean. Only facility problem I had was lack of water pressure in the morning, the shower was barely a trickle. This only occurred on one of the two mornings I was there. The breakfast in the mroning was not as well supplied as some of the other Hampton properties I have stayed at. Less selection and out of some items. The Director of Sales was so rude & condescending, that I was forced to contact the GM @ this location. She did what it took to make the situation right, but this particular "gentlemen" set an awful example for the other employees that were watching our discussion. Clean and new. Rates seem to be pretty high for the area. You could almost stay down at the Casinos in a suite for what they charge but the room is very nice and service is great.

the price/comfort ratio was outstanding - we may make stopping here our routine en route to New Orleans from Dallas. Kudos to overall design, the nightlight in the bathroom,the ease of use for the wifi, the comfort of the bed and lots of places to charge our iPad and phones. This hotel treated us very well. The staff, manager, and support (cleaning) personnel were all very friendly and willing and able to resolve any issue. The food was good and plentiful; the location very convenient. Surrounding traffic was mild. It's in a quiet, peaceful area. I'd stay here again any day.

When I checked in they said "your reservation was for 2 queens correct?" and I told them that it was incorrect and that it was supposed to be 1 King. I then promptly showed them my reservation confirmation that clearly stated 1 KING bed. They said we're sorry we're sold out and we can't do anything about it. They asked if I received a call about it […] and I didn't. I will not stay at a Hampton Inn again. What's the point of making a reservation AND pre-paying in advance for everything if they CAN'T hold the room with the proper bedding you paid for. 더 보기

With one exception, the suite we had here was wonderful. We wished we were staying more than one night. The exception was that the tv in the master bath didn't work, but we were informed about this shortly after check-in, and the desk clerk offered an apology. Very nice room, good location.

We come to Shreveport as a weekend get away and go to the horse races a few times a year. The Hampton is a great place to stay. Nice and quiet with clean rooms and a great continental breakfast. It will be our regular stop unless things change.

There weren't many reviews of this newer hotel when I booked my room last week. I chose it because of the location, which was perfect for our group of non-gamblers. The shopping and restaurants in the area are delightful. A World Market is just 5 minutes from Savoie's! How nice is that?!! The hotel was absolutely pristine. I tend to be a bit germ phobic […] when traveling, but my room was absolutely immaculate. I was 100% comfortable in the white sheets with the white comforter that smelled like it just came out of the dryer. LOVELY! I didn't hear a peep from the other rooms or the parking lot. Check in and check out took less than 5 minutes total. All the staff I met were very gracious and friendly. A truly perfect hotel experience. I highly recommend the Hampton Shreveport South! 더 보기

I had to book my room last minute and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The staff was friendly and place looked clean and inviting. I was in town to visit a family member in the hospital and the location could not have been better. I will definitely stay here again.

My stay at the Hampton South in Shreveport, LA was quite enjoyable. The property was quite new and a couple of things in the room needed adjusting. For instance, the door to the bathroom needed to be shaved so it could close without sticking. The property was clean, the breakfast well rounded and the room nicely annointed. Thanks,
