For the price this was a very nice hotel. They went out of their way to make the room nice. Good continental breakfast. Perfect for a quick stay near the airport.

The sheets had a terrible stain that went through all the bedding to the mattress. I checked in at three in the morning and did not want to change rooms so I slept on the other side of the bed!!!

This Howard Johnson was perfect for a close overnight stay in Houston! My cousin & I were dreading having to sleep in the airport, so I got online the morning of the flight to book a hotel. the hotel is average. The people are very friendly!

The price we paid was well worth the service and cleanliness of the hotel. It is in a very odd area but it was on the outskirts of Houston which is what we needed and so it worked well.

For the money this was a great hotel. Besides the blood stains on the carpet, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I would never stay at this hotel again! Carpet "extremely dirty." Ask the front desk guy about the local Domino Pizza delivery. Said he didnt know. Air conditioner units totally suck! Food left in the drawers! Do not waste your money! Absolute worst stay ever! Beds are terrible!

We had a three night four days family vacation with two kids 3 and 8 years of age. I have read all the reviews, looked at Google map and pictures. The price was great. Location - safe. They did have number of eighteen wheelers parked; not your typical downtown hotel, but we had no problem with that. Easy access to the gas station before going somewhere, […] and a quick bite of fast food at 2-3 restaurants just a mile away. Check in took 5 minutes. The room was clean, but light didn't work in the bathroom, was fixed the next day. Some outlets were not working; coffee maker was missing in the bathroom. The front desk lady said the previous guest broke it, did not offered a replacement. Bed and pillows felt good. Air conditioner worked well, but was not all that cold as we used to. 더 보기

Please do not stay at this hotel. The front desk clerk is the rudest person I have ever met. When asked for a double bed she said she will call me and she never did. After I checked in I went to the room and it has not been cleaned. Sheets and covers were still on the floor.

Nice and quiet, a little farther than the IAH Airport other hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice. Bathroom was a little dirty, along with the icky shower. The rest was just fine. I'd stay there again, IF the bathroom was cleaner. Price was OUTSTANDING!

No phone # on reservation nor at airport courtesy phone to call for pick up upon arrival. Had to take a taxi and cost me additional $14. No one to help take luggage upstairs to room and my room was in the back of the hotel. Asked for wake up call at 6am and never got it. Comp breakfast was fine. My family tried to call me while I was staying at the […] hotel and the man who owns and runs the hotel hung up on them. Asked for a ride to the hotel earlier than scheduled in the morning to leave.....I would rather sit at the airport. 더 보기

Location of the hotel is BAD (No Restaurants or Attractions nearby), but overall its a nice stay at an good price.

good rate for close in to the airport. Just know that there is nothing in the area-light industrial zone, so you have to travel a ways for restaurants, etc. Still, great value and 10 minutes to your terminal.

Clean, confortable and everything works very well. Friendly staff. I do recommend it. I am from Brazil and stayed there for 3 nights. very affordable rates. Oh! There's also a complimentary continental breakfast. I definately would stay there again.

Nice rooms, clean, feels like 4 star hotel in the room but the location is probably good for nothing. It's only 1.5-2 miles from the airport though. This hotel was clean and just fine for the price. The only thing is that it took over an hour for the shuttle to arrive at the airport, even though the hotel is 2 miles away. I stayed at one night there to catch the flight. Clean and decent hotel for the price. A little away but friendly hotel with suttle buses.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a little difficulty logging onto their "free" network but with some patience and help from the front desk staff, I was able to log onto their network and do some work. The hotel room was clean and I was pleasantly surprised that I had a "king size" bed. Very comfortable and I got a good night's sleep before […] my business meeting the next day. My stay at Hoeard Johnson was nice, I would stay there whenever I need somewhere to stay in Houston! A little far out, but overall a good clean hotel!!!

I was surprised at how neat and clean the hotel was for the price.

Hotel and staff were good, but we had ants all over in bathroom and tub, couldn't get any toilet paper from them when we ran out, and there was only 1 table with 4 chairs in breakfast room (and some 20 people trying to eat!) Also only 1 newspaper per hotel to share with everyone. They also refused to give me the 2 double beds room I had reserved and […] was on my computer print out with the confirmation number and would only give us the king bed. Good breakfast, quiet in room. Hotel next to two service stations so convenient for snacks. No comforter on bed only a small blanket that was too small for bed. Air conditioners placement in room nader out hard top get cool our stay warm. Convenient to freeway.

Nice HJ Hotel, very low rates, very clean, the housekipping are very nice and professional. The front desk attention nice and friendly. A little so far from Houston Downtown (near G. Bush Airport) If you slooking for a low rates, and good attention, go to this H. Johnson. Dont have a pool.

one of the worst hotel, motels i have ever been in. dirty room ac not working properly and the customer service was horrible. late wake up call, van so small it can't carry everyone to the motel. when we arrived at the airport we called for pick up and were told 15 to 20 minutes, took almost an hour. avoid--avoid--avoid. when we left we got the last […] seats and people with flight times the same as ours were left standing on the curb! 더 보기

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport and for the price, it is hard to beat. If your work or business brings you to North Houston, nothing could be more convenient.
