Not easy to get to in a car. Be prepared to fight a bit with the navigator if you drive in. Those nasty little posts which rise and fall (as if by magic) block cars from the center of the city. And if you actually want to be adventurous and stay in a hotel inside the city proper - this is the town to do it in. It is small, compact and easy to find your way around. This was a lovely little hotel with the nicest man running the front desk. I am sorry I did not get his name because he was a saint. He gave very good advise about what to see in the city and even walked me to the parking garage so I could find it. The hotel is quaint and clean and there is a very nice bar just outside the hotel which serves fine gin and tonics. This hotel made Cordoba one of our favourite places. La situacion del hotel pegado a l mezquita y en pleno centro del casco antiguo es realmente MAGICA. No hemos necesitado ningun tipo de transporte pues estabamos a pocos pasos de todo lo que interesa en Cordoba.
