The Wellington Apartment Hotel - 캥거루 포인트

The rate were quite reasonable, the room was very clean and comfortable.

My wife and myself found the room was clean and comfortable for the price although we did find a couple of small issues , firstly we had to boil the jug in the bathroom because there was no power point at the bench top near the fridge , also the room seemed to pick up every little noise from outside . While quite far from the airport ($50 cab), the location was great as you could walk to the River Cat stop and get all around Brisbane. Desk staff was extremely helpful. Older furnishings - could use re-do.

Brisbane's public transport system make this hotel very convenient to get into the business centre or the shops. Brisbane is built on the river and the city council run ferries along the waterway. They are very frequent and very comfortable all for a reasonable price. The hotel itself is very nice and well maintained run by a family. The only thing […] people should be aware of is that Wellington Road is very busy and noisy, my room was on the road itself and overlooked the road. The room had double glazing and although the room wasn't uncomfortably noisy it meant I wouldn't us the balcony. If you would plan to use the balcony get in touch with the hotel and I'm sure they'll accommodate you to the back of the hotel which would be quieter. 더 보기

We recently stayed at the Wellington for 3 nights, and it looked quite nice upon check in. Unfortunately the road noise is very intrusive from the very busy Wellington road, and the pub across the road. We also had noisy neighbours who came home the worse for wear at 3 in the morning, and decided the party wasn't over just yet. We could hear everything […] going on in their room, including the next morning when they were in the bathroom paying for their big night out. Not nice to have to listen to. The main bed was very uncomfortable as well, in fact the last night we ended up taking the mattress off the sofa bed and putting it on the floor so we could get some sleep. I was prepared to feed my comments back to the staff but the girl on reception when we left didn't ask, so I didn't bother explaining. Good location, nice staff but noisy and horrible bed. 더 보기

If you want something close (easy walk) to Gabba; this is very good place. This isn't especially close to CBD; though CityCat ferry service not too much of a walk. But; immediate neighborhood is a bit 'ordinary' Clean; very friendly staff. Good facilities. Room quite 'roomy'. Negatives: (a) too many signs/notices warning of dire financial consequences […] for guests who set off fire alarms - they could use some more 'friendly' language; and (b) take great care if thinking about drinking the bottle of red wine provided in room - very (VERY) pricey. But; there's a pub bottle shop over the road. 더 보기
