Stayed for 2 nights with my brother. Well Cottage is very convenient from the M5. There are plenty of eating places nearby & a pub on corner of street. Breakfast was very good.

I would describe Well Cottage as a mixed bag. All the ingredients are there, but somehow they don't work well. Perhaps I was unlucky but my single room was the smallest I have ever seen. There was nowhere to sit, and although the room contained a TV, it could only be watched from the bed. Moreover the bed was so small my feet ended up sticking out of […] the bottom, and the en-suite contained the smallest washhand basin in the known universe. It was so small I could not get both hands into it at the same time. However the room was spotlessly clean which was most important, and there a nice, if quaint, kitchen where 'take-away food' could be eaten, but having used it, I have to say it was very comfortable and effective. Breakfast was the usual cereal, toast and cooked stuff. I asked for vegetarian which turned out to be a mistake, as it was really nasty In summary Well Cottage is very clean, and the fabric and fittings are maintained to a high standard. However the single room I was given was small as a coffin and the cooked food was not very nice to my taste. 더 보기
