Tamaca Beach Resort Hotel - 산타마르타

I booked this hotel based on the reviews by other customers as well as the hotel website. All claimed that Tamaca Norte was a fully remodeled, much more modern building. It is in fact, the least kept up. Customer service was okay. Food was not good. The rooms have old tube tvs, a/c that does not put out, and bathroom windows that let out into the hallway […] (opaque). Very noisy when other guests are in between their rooms. I cannot believe that they are able to charge the amount they do - I would pay a fourth of what I had to pay if there was no other option. 더 보기

comparable hotels for less available in a more central location

The hotel and hotel personel were amazing. The service overall was excellent and the room met all my needs and expectations.

An excellently located beach front hotel ( even the north tower is just across the street with ocean views. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and tidy with adequate utilities and good decor. Breakfast buffet was good and any type of eggs could be made to order. Swimming pool and deck area were clean with an ocean view. Hotel is nice if you're looking for the standard place. It's right on the beach but make sure your room is in the main building, and not the secondary building behind, which is not nearly as nice and is off the beach. La comida es excelente

El hotel es limpio y agradable. Pero tuve dos inconvenientes: - cuando lo reservé en hoteles.com aparecía sin impuestos y allá me los cobraron, y es más de 15%, así que cuidado con los valores!!! - El personal de recepción no tiene el trato más amable, no se siente uno huesped especial sino un cliente más ... o menos.

La verdad es que es un hotel que es demasiado caro para aparentar lo que no es. La recomendacion que os hago es que vayais a otros ni al tamaca beach ni al tamaca norte. Si vais ya sabreis porque, la comida fatal..ormigas, moscas, etc. Eso en los dos hoteles porque si estas alojado en uno u otro tienes acceso a todo. Un saludo
