Was ok...rooms too small. Not a very good selection on the breakfast buffet.

Great, comfortable, Good service and clean

The only 2 complaints would be that the room service never emptied all the trash cans in the room and they used way to much chemicals in the pool and hot tub. The whole place smelled like the pool and when you got out you could feel the chemicals still stuck to you ( I think it was bromine).

entire building smelled like chlorine. nice hotel but our stay was made unpleasant by children running up and down the halls

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and both times it was well worth it.

We were excited to find this reasonably priced hotel last November (2011), and we stayed there again in April (2012) and it was every bit as nice as the first time.

This was our second stay and we will be back again. The hotel is very clean and neat.

Staff are a little slow, had to call front office several times because we had no coffee in the room. Outside the Hotel near the front door is a broken bench that I almost fell through. It was very nice small but nice and clean

Stayed here because the Blue Chip Casino was fully booked. Everything was OK, except the harsh fluorescent lighting in the room. Not one table lamp for softer light at night to watch TV or read by. Otherwise, basic, clean, appears pretty new.

Little overpriced, not bad though.

My family and I were pleased with the price, comfort and above all the appearance. Microtel was located in a very convenient area which is close to everything we could possibly need. We were very satisfied with MIcrotel!

We were very happy with this hotel and it was very easy to find. The staff was incredible and the rooms were spacious enough for 5 of us to be comfortable in. We were a little disappointed with the size and room for the pool. It was very tiny but still the kids didn't care and it was clean.

The hotel was great except for a couple things. I booked it for the entire purpose of the hot tub and when we arrived we were told it was out of order. In addition, the entire hotel lost all water for a few hours due to a water main break a couple blocks away. One person in our party was literally in the middle of a shower. I have to admit, since I had never heard of a Microtel, I was a bit worried about my stay. However, the front desk service was fabulous. Jennifer, I believe it was who checked me in as she also took care of a telephone call and another guest; while being very nice and helpful to everyone. I am an older guest so I asked if it was possible to get a ground […] floor room so I would not have to drag my luggage up an elevator, she replied, "no problem" and the room location was terrific. The room was attractive, clean; everything worked from the coffee pot to the hair dryer. Perfect location for every need was within a matter of blocks. When I return to the area, I won't even look elsewhere. Microtel will be my choice. 더 보기

I was disappointed that we could not be accomodated to have side by side rooms, when we made the reservation far in advance. We were on seperate floors and there was hardly anyone at the hotel. The rooms were clean; we couldnt find a place to plug in the coffee pot unless we moved it to the floor. The voice on the tv kept disappearing.

This Microtel was a breath of fresh air compared to the other hotels we have stayed at near Michigan City. It met ALL of our requirements -- close to I-94, free breakfast, good mattresses(!), free internet, plus an indoor pool & hot tub -- for less than we have paid at other places that did NOT meet those needs. Excellent Service. Good Breakfast. Very Clean and comfortable.

This was a lovely hotel. Upon check in, it appeared to be well managed. The room was clean and very inviting. The surrounding area had several hotels and a Walmart as well as a variety of eating establishments. It was also close to the Blue Chip Casino. HORRIBLE customer service provided by front desk person, Patrick. Rude, unprofessional and inappropriate both in person, and over the telephone. Would not recommend this establishment to anyone!

The hotel was very easy to find, it was clean, quiet and inexpensive. Breakfast was also fine. Staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Most of the reviews are right on. We stayed 1 night. Room was very clean and quiet. the area has several dining options as well. Very convienent to the interstate.

Great place to stay - for us after 19hours of continuous travel. Would recommend

I recommend this hotel specially if you are on a tighter budget visiting Chicago. Very helpful front desk, Reasonably priced compared to Chicago hotels. We stayed 3 nights, and drove to Chicago daily.

Our room was good, bed comfortable and well-done bathroom.

The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Hotel lobby and exterior was clean and well maintained. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, especially Patrick. Continental breakfast and coffee was very good. Great location. No problems. We plan to stay there next visit.

the only complaint I have concerns the front desk staff, they were not very personable and in fact tended to ignore you unless you were in front of them. Does it hurt to say GOOD MORNING, HAVING A GOOD STAIY ETC. The staff needs to take ADIET training. Thank you,

My husband and I wanted to go to Prime Outlet and wanted to stay in an area near there and with choices for meals. Microtel was a very good choice. Staff was friendly and the hotel was new. Single room was kind of small, but no other complaints.

stayed in the queen suite jacuzzi for a night. everything was very clean and fresh smelling. women at the front desk was very polite, printed us out directions the the dunes. and you can make your own waffles at breakfast!

Wow! We (my wife and I) did not have high expectations on a budget hotel, but this one exceeded our expectations. Very clean and affordable!

Hotel is about a year old -- clean and well maintained. Quiet -- didn't hear anyone else in the 2 days we were there although there were at least 2 families with very young children (infant - 3) staying on our floor. The room was comfortable, beds were wonderful and the fridge and microwave in our room was a real plus. The breakfast was merely adequate […] -- nothing special: cold and hot cereal, muffins, toast, juice and coffee. The only plus for breakfast was the bake your own waffles. Very impressed. Hotel looked like it was a newer hotel or recently remodeled. Free breakfast was pretty good. Only a short trip to casino. Would highly recommend.
