Overall really nicely designed hotel, with free coffee, water and soda a plus. Stayed in the Queen room, but the bed felt more like a full size bed than a queen...otherwise everything else was perfect. Staff was absolutely lovely.

My mom and I visited Boston for a weekend and needed a conveniently located place to stay. The hotel is very accessible, the service is great, the room was clean and comfortable. Overall great experience. Recommended.

Although the rooms of this property are small, the building is most likely a former boarding house for Harvard students. That said, the limited space is adequate and the bed comfortable. It meets a warrior's needs unless you want to work in your room for any length of time. Although our room was very small, it was elegantly appointed, very clean, and recently updated. The lobby was warm and inviting and the staff was incredibly helpful. I'd love to return.

Really enjoyed my one-night stay here. The rooms are not huge, but are very comfortable. I was even upgraded to a room with a small balcony. Everything still felt new, or had recently been remodeled. Free WiFi worked great. I would definitely stay again...

Booked a queen room but was given a king. Room was so small and bed so large that you could barely move, no place for luggage etc and no drawers for unpacking. Other features of the hotel were very nice, but we will not return. Room was just too small, even for seasoned European travelers like us.

I ended up snowed in during Nemo, but I LOVED my stay at Hotel Veritas. The staff was incredibly friendly and the complimentary beverages were a nice welcome. i stayed here for a quick business overnight trip. while im familiar with the area, i had never stayed at this gem of a hotel. the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was charming and comfortable. would definitely stay here again.

Wonderfully personal, well appointed, no "extra" charges (free wifi and beverages), and good Cambridge location. Only downside, rooms are a tad small. Comfy, but small. Definitely will go back.

The hotel is new, clean, in a great location to Harvard Square and Cambridge. We were disappointed at the size of the room. We stayed in the deluxe queen and there was hardly enough room for our suitcases. We called the front desk when we saw the size of the room and had decided to only stay one night instead of the three. The receptionist said he would […] call us back. He never did and never acknowledged our unhappiness with the space, though we saw him several times over the next few days. We used valet parking which proved to be a real convenience, though pricey. Small but functional room, great amenities including coffee/tea/drinks centre in the lobby, business center, luxurious lounge. Use of gym across the street, free internet, all great. Will be my hotel of choice in Cambridge

Exceptional service and friendly staff. They also don't nickel-and-dime you to death. Water bottles in the room were no additional charge, same for internet, and they have free coffee/espresso/water/juice in the lobby at all times. Just a very nice stay.

The Hotel Veritas is a little gem just outside of Harvard Square. Tastefully decorated and well maintained. I'll recommend to friends and will visit again.

Awesome location. Friendly staff. Loved the decor. The staff ensured that all my accommodation needs were catered to. Love the service. I truly recommend it to those who want to be closer to the Harvard Campus and Boston T system!

The hotel staff were particularly nice. There is valet parking. Also, the hotel is located close to many restaurants. The one downside is that the room was a bit small, but otherwise it was a very nice hotel. I would stay there again on my next visit to the Boston area.

Very nice comfortable room. Small but didn't plan on jogging inside anyway. 2 minute walk to Harvard square. will try and stay there from now on, as long as the price stays reasonable

The hotel was having widespread issues with drainage, so the bathroom sink wouldn't drain. Kind of yuck. And, while there is an individual thermostat, the room was overheated even with the unit turned off. The staff was very nice at check-in and the room/building are pretty. Location is excellent.

we got upgraded from a petite queen room to a queen room. the room size is small for boston but slightly above average for nyc. free orange juice and water are pluses. one negative in line with other reviews is that the bed is too soft.

We checked in New Years Eve for one night stay, not very busy, I had reserved a Queen room, upon check in young lady told me they had upgraded us to a balcony queen, room #401, I should have know something was up, Balcony, in January with 8" snow on it??? Room was next to the elevator, shared a wall, but it was no problem. However, we think the air […] handling unit or something was right above the room, all night, we thought shortly a helicopter will be landing on the roof. We did not get much sleep. Also, Room 401 is very small, may because it is carved out of a corner. I was able to park at a meter right in front, next day was new Years day holiday and did not have to move the car or put money in the meter. The stay was fine but the "upgrade" was actually a downgrade. On line we paid for the most expensive room on offer. The upgrade was a tiny room next to the elevator with a "queen" bed much smaller than our queen at home. The only thing that could be called an upgrade was the balcony, but since it was 35 degrees and raining outside, that wasn't really […] an upgrade. This is a nicely furnished, conveniently located hotel with a very helpful staff. The rooms are small, but mine felt cozy rather than cramped. The staff should pay slightly more attention to routine maintenance -- the drapes were coming off the hooks, and one of the lamps didn't work properly.

The main downside I'd read about in the reviews online was that the rooms were on the small side, so I opted for the larger Queen room. Although it was still smallish (but cozy), it was well appointed, clean, very comfortable, stylish and I really couldn't have asked for more.
