The hotel has lots of amenities, super clean and modern. It is very centrally located near the OSU campus.

Perfect place for our party...suites were nice and roomy, the sectional couches are a bonus! Ready to come back for a nice get away!

Overall very good room relaxing, ordered food u have to go and get it but portions were large and very good.

New, modern, clean hotel within minutes of downtown. Quiet location. Friendly staff. Excellent continental breakfast.

Great location about 1/2 mile west of city center of Columbus being midway between OSU campus and German Village. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is mostly commercial with only one restaurant within walking distance being the Buckeye Grill which is next door. I love this hotel! Friendly staff, clean, roomy room, close to a couple of good restaurants and literally minutes away from the ShoetNorth, German Village, the Arena District and OSU.

This is an excellent hotel to stay in if you like a nice staff, clean facilities and a quiet hotel. My conference was at the Hyatt Regency but I stayed at Hyatt Place OSU because it was close and more quaint than the big regency. The Buckeye Grill right next door is also a fabulous place to eat. Hotel quest receive a discount.

Modern, clean and new. Our room was so nice. Very big with two queen beds and a separation wall for a sitting area. The sitting area had a sectional couch that pulled out to a bed. Three of us stayed in the room and we all lounged on the couch for a movie. It was comfy. Unfortunately, the movie we ordered had digital problems but when we called, they […] reset the movie and comp'd it. Comp. breakfast in the a.m. was great. Nice view and close to everything. Lovely, new hotel. Service and room were excellent; complimentary continental breakfast was fabulous and hit the spot!

Perfect location for OSU games and downtown. Rooms are very large, nice layout and tons of outlets! We would definitely stay there again. Staff was very nice.

convenient, very clean, new, huge room Only problem was breakfast was over at 9:30 and was a bit early for us. 10:00 seems more reasonable and yet when we were leaving, someone did ask if we wanted something but we had already planned on going out for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was great, it isn't too far from downtown or the arena district, and the staff was amazing. The only drawback was that it is somewhat isolated since its in a developing area. Overall though this place was great, and I plan to stay again on future visits to Columbus.

The hotel sponsored a rock band and beer tasting. The noise went on for hours. Very unpleasant.

Hyatt Place is one of my favorite chains. They tend to be outside of the metro area but have spacious and clean rooms. I was traveling for business and had a day to work from my hotel. This hotel was perfect with free high speed internet, a spacious room (with desk/work space), and a couple places to grab food within walking distance. Very nice hotel. The service was excellent. The only downside was that the pool was not operational. We had chosen this hotel specifically for the indoor pool as we were traveling with children. There was not alot around the hotel; i.e., other restaurants or shops. However, there is adequate space for additional businesses, shops and restaurants. The staff at this hotel was excellent. From their friendliness to helpfulness, everything they did and said was perfect. Our only disappointment was that the hotel shuttle did not transport us to the soccer game we were in town for. When I booked the hotel, the gentleman I spoke with assured me that their free shuttle service would take us to Crew stadium. […] This ended up being incorrect and the taxi was not cheap. This was the third Hyatt Place hotel I've stayed at (also near the Notre Dame campus and Wyoming, MI) and cannot recommend this chain highly enough! The staff are always incredibly helpful and upbeat. The rooms have been super clean and in great shape and the beds are comfortable. need to fix lighting by beds. can not read if someone is in other bed trying to sleep. the toilet seat was broken - some one needs to check these things. otherwise hotel was very nice.

Hotel was great for the special price. Very clean and close to Ohio State. Would definiatly stay here again.

This hotel was excellent. It was brand new and the room was very well done. Very stylish and modern. The rate was good but might have been introductory. I would stay here again. The breakfast was pretty good. The only complaint I have is the scent that they use in the hotel lobby. Overpowering and distasteful, IMHO.

We went to this hotel because we were going to a concert on the OSU campus. We were very happy with all aspects of the hotel including the staff, room comfort and decor (huge flat screen tvs! nice!). Beautiful hotel! Amazing rooms, clean, comfortable. Down side is that it's not walking distance to anything. A short drive will get you anywhere no problem. And with free parking - it's easy!

The hotel was very clean and modern, with a pleasant decor. The rooms are almost twice as large as most hotel rooms, and there is a separate living room "suite" and kitchenette area with a small refrigerator and granite countertop. The only downside was that there was not much around the hotel as it is phase I of a 3 phase construction. Room was great.

The Hyatt Place will be the first hotel I will look for when traveling.

the shuttle to area attractions was great-staff very helpful---need to work on keeping the items at the breakfast bar refilled in a timely manner--overall a great place to stay

friendly staff

The hotel is a bit down the road from Ohio Stadium, but was very nice. It was not hard to get back to after a night game and was very comfortable.

The Hyatt Place Hotel was beautiful. Stayed on the hotel's second day in operation. The staff was friendly and the entire hotel was clean. Contemporary decor and really comfortable beds.
