clean and nice price, but So noisy

All were fine except positioning.But convenient to use the bus and cheaper fee became encourage me. Very Thanks So Much.

To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive at staying in a hostel on my own, thinking it would be really dirty, noisy and in a poor state of repair. But my fears were just in my head and could not have been further from the truth. This hostel is excellent. Very modern and clean, with excellent facilities. The rooms were bright and airy and the bunk beds […] were suprisingly comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bar did excellent food and plenty of drinks to choose from. I can not find a single fault with this hostel. Just off the royal mile, about halfway between Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return. 더 보기

The hostel was very very nice, the only problem I had was that I was put in a room with a group of very disrespectful guys that spoke loudly at night, make a lot of noise without consideration for other people sleeping in the room, and even drunk alcohol in the room (by the way, they all were drunk, and even got in the room with glasses from the bar […] dropping beer in the carpet). Next day I waked up, left the hostel, and when I came back at night the room was still covered by bottles of beer and stinking like alcohol, so that mean they didn't clean the room. Besides this episode, the hostel was very nice, they have a very nice bar, the building is well refurbished, and the rooms were very clean at the time of check in. 더 보기

Fantastic location, but what a disaster, even for a hostel - and we've stayed in others before. Waited 3 hours for room to be ready from promised time. Did not enforce own rules for partying outside our window after 10 PM, went on til 2 AM and later. TV and light over sink did not work, seat on only chair in room dangerously loose, included wi-fi did […] not work in room, had to go to bar. 더 보기

Location! Location! Location! Room was clean, and the bed comfortable.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in during my European travels. The location is awesome, situated right near the Royal Mile. Great facilities, and the room I stayed in (10 bed dorm) was spacious and clean. The bar downstairs was great too and had a good atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very helpful also. Room was not clean - Toilet particularly dirty. Too much noise at night. Lighting of toilet is controlled by a motion detector, and it gets very annoying (you have to be moving all the time...). Location is very good.

Tiny rooms with bunk beds. Tiny bathroom including the toilets. Breakfast was ok. On overall we pay for the location not for the bedroom and breakfast quality.

Excellent hostel. i have travel to many places around the world for many years and have stayed in many hostels! this is one of the best i have ever stayed in!!!

I stayed at this hostel for one night with my parents (who had never stayed in one and wanted to - go figure) and they were incredibly impressed. SmartCity Edinburgh was amazing; super clean, 45 seconds away from the Royal Mile in the heart of the city, and filled with amenities to include computer access, wifi, restaurant, pub, and friendly and helpful […] staff. I would definitely stay there again. The only cons were that wifi wasn't free (but it is at nearby coffee shops) and the walls are a bit thin so you can hear people in the halls (but not in nearby rooms). 더 보기

I was worried about staying in a hostel but was surprised by how "hotel" like it was but for a lot less money. Check in was a bit rubbish, still not sure what I was suppose to register for but apart from that, it was great. Stayed in private room, was clean and bed was surprisingly very comfy...obviously basic but at least shower is seperate unlike […] other hotels I have stayed. If you want cheap with no frills then stay here. Plus great bar n food downstairs and just off the Royal Mile, will def be staying here again 더 보기

It is placed in a sidestreet right in the middle of the High Street and you can walk to all tourist atractions in the Old Town. The rooms are ten bed dorm rooms and are mixed gender. So if you have a problem with sleeping in the same room with people of the opposite sex, better not book this one. If you're just staying one night or are not easily woken, […] it is recomendable. Nothing for Families with kids, it can get pretty loud throughout the night as there is a bar in the basement. You should bring a smal lock to lock up your locker. Oh and don't bring big suitcases. They wont fit in there. The rooms were ok. Nothing spectacular, but as a base for exploring the city or as a backpacker it is ok. 더 보기

hôtel très bien placé, idéal pour des groupes ou séjour en famille ou amis mais par contre bruyant du fait de la clientèle jeune qui boit et sort beaucoup donc les nuits sont entrecoupées de rires, bavardages et allers-venues. petit -déjeuners copieux parfaits.

Très mauvaise surprise. Un confort acceptable pour le prix, mais un service plus que douteux ou l'on ne vous dit même pas bonjour. il faut sortir son porte monnaie pour tout, même pour une simple feuille de papier. internet très cher, breakfast cher et peu ragoutant. A éviter à moins d’être vraiment juste au niveau du budget.

Personnel de réception qui ne parle qu'un anglais difficile à saisir (accent écossais), et aucune autre langue : ce sont des anglais il est vrai. Bar/Restaurant agréable et prix raisonnables.

Lage: Perfekt - 5 Minuten zum Bahnhof, wo der Airport-Bus hält, 5 Minuten zum Schloss. Personal: freundlich und hilfsbereit 3-Zimmer mit eigenem Bad: sauber, mit Badtüchern, einziger Makel: Die Dusche war nicht abgetrennt, man hat das ganze Bad "überflutet". Frühstück: ok, englisch halt ;-) aber gibt in der Nähe gleich einen Starbucks oder Subway ;-) Uns […] (w, 20-25) hat das Hostel gut gefallen. Anbefaler ikke å bo her. Sure ansatte, ingen service og frekke vaskefolk som vekker deg tidlig på morgenen, fordi de ha ikke fått med seg at du har betalt ekstra for late check out kl 12:00. Ingen påfylling av såpe. Nye håndklær kun hver 3de dag.

　ホステルとホテルの違いを知なっかった。ホテルのような、ベッドメイキングや清掃、タオルの交換はなかった。タオルは3日に一度らしいです。フロントに行けば無料で出してはくれました。2段ベッドで 学生の寮レベルです。コインランドリーの設備があって便利です。 　一階にバーやビリヤード、ネットもできます。夜遅くまで騒いでいてうるさいです。私たちのような中年のグループには向かないですが、若い人なら他の国の人との交流ができて楽しいかもしれません。どこからでも出入りできますが、セキュリティーは安心です。 　ロケーションは、ロイヤルマイルといわれる通り沿い、中央の鉄道駅、エアーリンクのバス停にも近く便利です。

Toda mi estancia en el hostal me ha parecido bien,excepto que me tocó una habitación que daba al bar y se escuchaba ruido y voces hasta bien entrada la madrugada...Lo más importante a destacar es su ubicación y sus modernas instalaciones.

Beliggenheten er helt grei. Servicen var heller dårlig på rommene. Skifte av sengtøy/håndduker etter 3 dager! Greit at oppholdet var planlagt til 3 dager. Ikke påfyll av såpe når det var tomt. Komforten i sengene var heller dårlig. Virket å være tilrettelagt for en natt og ungdommer. Servicen i inn-/utsjekk helt grei.

Wir hatten ein so genannten Familienzimmer für drei Personen gebucht. Wenn die Sonne reinscheint, dann musst du wegen Platzmangel rausgehen! Wer im Zimmer nur schlafen und sonst gar nichts will, ist damit gut bedient, aber jeder Aufenthalt aus sonstigen Gründen schließt sich fast von selbst aus. Dafür ist das Restaurant im EG völlig in Ordnung. Gutes […] Essen, nette zuvorkommende Leute, Preise okay. Auch der Outdoorbereich ist einladend. Frühstücksleistung - naja, eben britisch. Inkludiertes Gratisfrühstück wird angepriesen, in Wirklichkeit gibt es eine Beschränkung auf "6 pieces", aber auch damit kommt man gut zurecht und wird satt. Doch wer ein bisschen Wert auf Bewegungsfreiheit in seinem Zimmer legt, sollte einen Preisvergleich machen. Nahe gelegene Hotelketten kosten auch nicht (viel) mehr … 더 보기

Helt ok budgetboende. Nära till de centrala delarna av stan. Många trevliga ungdomar, bra frukost. Helt klart värt pengarna som budgetboende.

Habitación decente, a pesar de haber reservado una doble con baño y darnos en realidad una cuádruple con literas para los dos. Situación excelente y buen ambiente. Nada de ruido. Recomendable para quien sólo necesita una habitación para dormir y no para disfrutarla.

Til en rimelig pris kan man bo like ved Royal Mile. Trivelig og interessant del av Edinburgh. Man må huske på at dette er et hostel og jeg regner med at rommene varierer noe. Vi hadde bestillt tomannsrom med bad. Bygget er nok en tidligere studenterbolig og vi fikk en "gang" innredet til rom (den ene døren var forseglet). Det fungerte helt greit, men […] forvent ikke noe mere. Badet var av grei størrelse, men var ganske kaldt, da der ikke var varmeovn. Vi benyttet oss ikke av restaurant/kantine, men den så bra ut. Jeg anbefaler hostellet hvis man får en rimelig pris, men man må være klar over at standard på rommene kan variere. 더 보기

Ich war für zwei Nächte in Edinburg und das Hostel ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Es liegt ca. 10 min. Fussweg von Waverlystation entfernt in einer Querstraße zur Royal Mile. An der Royal Mile liegen die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie das Edinburgh Castle bis hin zu Holyrood Palace. Die Nacht von Samstag auf Sonntag war leider sehr laut, weil die anwesenden […] Jugendlichen mit Lautstarker Musik und dadurch noch lauterem Schreien gefeiert haben, aber ansonsten kann ich das Hostel nur empfehlen. Das Frühstück habe ich nicht probiert, ich war bei Starbucks um die Ecke. 더 보기

Mir war nicht bewusst, dass es sich um eine Art Jugendherberge handelt. Es gab keinen täglichen Zimmerservice und die Check-in-Situation war indiskutabel. Frühstück erbärmlich. Zutaten waren genau abgezählt. Never again.

Hotellets beliggenhet var perfekt! Gangavstand til Edinburgh Castle, Cinema Obscura(flott vitenskaps museum for barn!), Edinburgh katedral osv. Hotellet lå nær Princess street hvis en ønsker shopping. Flott med 24 t service i resepsjonen. Veldig god "full scottish breakfast" og hyggelig personale. Jeg vil anbefale dette hotellet til alle, enkelt og […] rent til en billig penge. Det var en populær og stor bar i kjelleren. Vi bodde i 2 etg og hørte ikke noe til støy fra baren, noe som var bra! Kätevällä paikalla, hostelliksi tasokas ja hyvin mietitty kokonaisuus. Miinuksena narisevat lattiat käytävällä ja vuotava suihku.

Hostel'et ligger veldig bra til, i en sidegate til the Royal Mile, men fortsatt stille og rolig. Bra frokost, bra hostel, bra rom (vi var to personer som delte et twin room). Eneste minus var at rommet var ganske kaldt, og vi fikk ikke skrudd opp radiatoren. Ellers var vi veldig fornoyde! :) Fint med resepsjon 24t i dognet.

Billigt och bra vandrarhem i centrala Edingburgh. Våningssängar i små rum. Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Engelsk frukost med varm buffé.
