Actually I expected very comfortable time and relaxable services. But it was just only my expectation. I wanted to rent motor bike to travel. "How can I rent motor bike??" "You can rent it anywhere around here." "Can I get contact number??" "No, You can go to rental agency by taxi. The taxi fee shoud be THB 300~400" I really got angry but I don't want to make noisy. So, I just go out of hotel. and walk for 10 minutes. And found another hotel. I asked the door man that "Actually I'm staying in Aqua Marine. I want to rent motor bike. Can you help me??" "Yes. Please wait around 10 minutes. I will arrange the motor bike." And I can rent the motor bike within 10 minutes by another hotel's door man. Another situation I & My wife wanted to horse riding. So, I contacted to 'Travel information' in the Aquamarine resort. "Can I know there is any horse riding club around here??" "I don;t know. You can use taxi. Maybe taxi knows. The taxi charge would be around THB 1000." Last Situation. The last day, our fleight schedule was 11PM. And the check-out time is 02PM. So, we have to out from the room and find some where to spend time. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant really nice. Great location too being a short drive away from busy Patong. The free shuttle services to Kamala Beach and Patong were really handy. Staff available all hours to book and give advice on tours etc. Lovely view of the ocean from our room too.

Hotel is very secluded, so they appeared to have taken advantage of that by overcharging for drinks/food at the hotel. The prices were double than a normal resort, and 5 times more expensive than you can purchase from local 7/11 store. (The local 7/11 is a 40 min walk). Great veiws from your rooms but not close to town. The hotel has a courtesy bus that operates hourly during the day but no night service. Taxis are plentiful and cheap so you can always get where you need to go quickly. If you have mobility problems this hotel is not for you as there are stairs every where and no lifts. Our room was always cleaned and tidied well, however some toiletries were not replaced or refilled. I was pleased that there was a free shuttle service to nearby towns. I suggest that there should be more shuttles running more frequently, including return trips. Only around 3 shuttles a day one way to the major town seems silly for such a large resort. An online reservation engine proposed this hotel while we were booking flights. Not knowing Phuket we took a chance and booked the hotel too. Excellent hotel whilst having all the ammenities you require and just far enough away from all the nightlife that you can both relax and enjoy the nightlife when you wish. I like variety and this hotel offers it. It is not like a usual hotel. It offers a variety of amenities (pools, fitness etc.) shuttle bus to the beach, friendly staff etc. Only the drinks, the internete etc. are very expensive (hotel prices!). It should have offered better prices.

The hotel pictures are nice but the hotel itself is much better, the only problem was that it does not have direct access to the beach, there is a road in the middle, the beach is not so good as it is full of rocks and corals after few meters inside the water and in low tide it is impossible to dip in the water as it regresses back about 50-100m and […] it is all filled with rocks/corals. We understood when we booked that the hotel is located away from the beach but read about the free shuttle, so we didn't think it would be a problem. It was. There is an hourly service to and from the beach itself, so that's OK but the shuttle to Patong (only three per day) will only let you go one way. Service was friendly , however minor communication difficulties with bar and resturant staff but always an english speaker near at hand to resove and queries and the front desk staff were helpfull and efficient. […] Will definately go again.
