Doña Lola - 세비야

I would recommend this hotel to people on a budget but who are tired of the typical +/-50 EUR experience of worn-out, dingy rooms-- this is clean and modern, with a simple but fun color-coding theme for the rooms. A couple of things to note: it is partnered/run by another hotel just around the corner, the Casona San Andres, and check-in/check-out (and […] all other staff requests) must be done there. There is no reception or full-time staff in Dona Lola. Although indicated on the reservation I made, it does not seem that breakfast is offered. The only amenities the room has are well-functioning air conditioning (very important in Sevilla) and a hair dryer. As throughout Spain, electricity and water only work when there's a key card inserted in the reader, and this is not a hotel where staff leave an extra card in the slot for you. In other words, no power when you're away, meaning no charging of phones, etc. During my stay, San Andres's staff were always polite but not particularly helpful-- I needed to wash my clothes while staying in Seville and, as self-service laundries are rare in Spain, I had to do some asking around to find one. Turns out that there is one right by the Casona San Andres, but desk staff there had no idea about it nor seemed interested in trying to help me find one. Although the neighborhood at first seems a little grittier than the postcard image of Sevilla, none of that is very far. In fact, being right between the center and the Alameda de Hercules has its advantages-- the latter offers a lot of good day-to-day services and less expensive restaurants. 더 보기

Stay was ok to good. staff were friendly and informative. the address that i was given was different so i had to take all my luggage to the new address which was just around the corner.

After searching and searching for a decent, inexpensive, place to stay in Seville, I lucked upon the Hotel Dona Lola. Hotel is very clean and comfortably appointed. The check in process is a bit of a hassle (you need to check in with a near by hotel, Casona de San Andres) but once that is done everything else is a breeze. The staff at the Dona Lola […] were very helpful. Breakfast is no great shakes, but considering most hotels in Spain provide no meals, a cup of coffee in the morning was a welcome sight. I would highly recommend the Dona Lola, especially the Murado room. Despite the fact this room has no view, it is comfortable, sunny and very quiet! 더 보기

El hotel está bien situado, cerca de muchos lugares de interés. Trato amable de los empleados. Solo estuve dos noches. La habitación en la que me alojarion era una planta baja, altura de calle, en la que había mucho ruido. Además, la ventana era de madera y no cerraba, con lo que el ruido se multiplicaba, tanto por la noche con la gente que trasnochaba […] con por la mañana con la que gente que madrugaba (o que también trasnocha).En la siguiente ocasión buscaré otra alternativa. 더 보기
