호텔 라 시에라 (Hotel La Sierra) - 산타마르타

Location is good - right across the beach but the rooms were very small. the sink location is beneath a counter that made it difficult to use. Balcony a plus but very small that made it unusable. If they lower the rate, I could book again. At the price charged I found out you could get a lot better deals

Hotel la Sierra is in a nice location right on the beach in El Rodadero. The hotel staff is mostly very friendly, and some of the balconies have a great view to the beach and the sea. The breakfast is a bit better than in backpacker hostels, but the price is also higher than in backpacking places. Ok value for the money, if you're tired of cheap hostels […] for some time, but somewhat expensive for a longer stay. We got an overpriced transportation to Cartagena arranged through the hotel, so it might be a good idea to check for a second price if you arrange transportation or tours through the hotel staff. The transportation to Parque Tayrona was with an ok price, but we had to re-negotiate it with the driver on the bus, as he expected a higher price than we had agreed with the guy standing in front of the hotel. 더 보기

Excellent service, friendly staff and beautiful views from the rooms. It would be nice if some of the staff spoke a little English for the convenience of the non-Spanish speaking tourists. I realize there are cheaper hotels in the area, but this one come with a great restaurant.
