Little off the beaten path but if you a walker and Public transport kinda person like I am, its perfect. For the price you get much more sq ft. than any Milan hotel. Really nice kitchen and more storage than you know what to do with. Highly recommended.

We traveled to Milan as family of four with our dog. This was such a great value. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay convenient. The front desk helped us find the local supermarket, metro station, and called for taxi service when we needed it.

Clean, comfortable apartment. friendly reception. Tram stop 5 mins walk away with trams stopping every 5 mins, local restaurants in walking distance, local super market about 15 min walk away. Perfect for a weekend stay in Milan. Would stay again.

The hotel is very good and i recommend it to everyone who will visit Milano. The personal also were nice and tried always to give us help when we asked.

Around €10-12 from the hotel to the Duomo by taxi.

We were generally impressed by this hotel.In fact it's a building of two-room completely autonomous appartments with all facilities, sofa, armchair, tv, kitchen, oven, refrigerator, wardrobe. It's mainly intented to those who love house atmosphere over cold hotel rooms and prefer to prepare their own meals. There is also free parking place and working […] wi-fi. There is autonomous heating. We found the place very clean, tidy and warm, there were towels and blankets. Only remark was that few kitchen utensils were missing. The reception people were helpful, gave us directions and fullfiled our small requests. Most of them communicate well in english. Price was excellent, especially if you get a good deal for longer stay. Adding to the fact that you don't have to spend a fortune for eating out, it makes one of the most wallet-friendly but elegant ways of visiting Milano. The neighbourhood is quiet, looks pretty safe and supermarket is less than 10 min on foot away. However it's away from any Milano hotspots, there's nothing interesting to visit in this region. At night there is total silence, interrupted only by few trains from the railway nearby. Beware that in 2012 there are public works in Milano and tram lines near the hotel have been rerouted. It's very useful to ask directions from the hotel beforehand on how to reach them by public transport. But as long as you know the tricks, access to the center is 5 min walk and then no more than 20 min by bus/tram/metro. And a final note only for railfans and trainwatchers like me: ask for a room looking to the railway, you'll get a great view to a railway depot and passing suburban trains as a free bonus! We would happily return to this place during our next visit to Milano as it fullfiled completely our exceptations and for its great value for money, noting as only drawback its remotess from public transport. 더 보기

Amazingly friendly staff willing to go extra mile to accomodate you. Rooms are like fully furnished apartment with dining area, kitchen with cutlery, etc. Wonderful for a family stay. Free parking on premises. Transportation is a walking distance from the residence.

Great place to stay, never considered an apartment in the past but from this experience I will for my next trip. Staff are great and really helpful, neighborhood's about 2k out of the centre but it's a nice walk and if you prefer only 8 stops on the tram which stops a short stroll away from the hotel entrance.

We are 2 Americans traveling around Italy. We started in Milan and from there have travelled to Lake Como (Tremezzo) and from there to Bologna and now in Florence. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and newly decorated, also very stylish. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Över förväntan Det är första gången jag och mina mer eller mindre vuxna barn, valde att bo i lägenhet men det var en riktig hit. Adorei ter estado neste hotel residência. A gente sente-se em casa mesmo. É espaçoso e bem localizado em termos de deslocamento.

Die Lobby und die Zimmer vermitteln ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente. Sie sind modern gestaltet und gut ausgestattet. Allerdings war die Ausstattung mit Geschirr für ein Apartment für 4 Personen sehr gering. Das Umfeld des Hotels ist nicht besonders einladend, die Umgebung macht einen sehr ungepflegten Eindruck. Fremragende hotellejligheder, lidt uden for Milanos centrum. Vi bestilte, koordinerede sen ankomst uden problemer, aftalte sen check-ud uden problemer, og personalet var meget hjælpsomt. Placeringen er med sporvogn ca. 25 minutter fra Duomoen (centrum), og igen var personalet hjælpsom med at finde vej. Polecam wszystkim hotel - zwłaszcza na tygodniowe lub dłuższe pobyty. Apartament duży, dobrze wyposażony. Odległość od centrum - 10 min jazdy tramwajem, który często kursuje. Obsługa hotelu bardzo pomocna - w razie kłopotów od razu reaguje. Jeśli bym jeszcze raz miała pojechać do Mediolanu to tylko do Calvino jak najbardziej :-)

Overraskende greie rom. Kjøkken, vaskemaskin, sovesofa i stuen, kjøleskap og fryser etc. Bygget ser ut i dårlig forfatning på utsiden, men flott på innsiden. Litt lang gangavstand til sentrum/duomo (40-50 minutter å gå). Nærmeste trikkestopp var midlertidig nedlagt da vi var der, så det ble et stykke å gå til nærmeste trikk til byen. Très propre, personnel très accueillant et efficace, pratique pour les familles. Le quartier n'est pas très charmant mais le centre ville n'est pas trop loin.

Todo muy bien , acogedor y comodo,. He estado 5 dias, y mi hijo casi un mes, y la verdad es que no podemos tener ninguna queja. Deberian de colocar letreros indicando la localización, porque la primera vez que vas es muy dificil de encontrar.

O Residência Calvino não é hotel, é um apartamento amplo e muito bom. A localização dele é bem longe do centro de Milão, porém andando 10 min pode pegar o TRAM ( tipo trenzinho eletrico) que leva ao centro da cidade e demais bairros de Milão. No Residência Calvino se precisar de chamar táxi e alguma emergência não tem ninguém para prestar ajuda, pois […] após 20 horas até 8 horas da manhã seguinte não tem atendimento na portaria. Meu genro passou mal às 4 horas da manhã, tivemos que levá-lo ao Hospital, graças a Deus que tínhamos levado o notebook , então fizemos contato com o seguro saude no Brasil via skype. 더 보기

Duomoから、または地下鉄のLanza駅からトラムの12番または14番で近くまできます。スーパーも歩いて7分くらいのところにあり、自炊に便利ですが包丁がなかったので、ちゃんとした料理は作れませんでした。オーブンはありましたが電子レンジがあればもっとよかったな。 スタッフはとても親切で対応が適切でした。

Hotellet/ lägenheterna är rätt moderna men läget är inte lika bra, en bit från stan.. Vi bodde där i tre nätter och hade bokat 2 rum. Vi fick byta ett av rummen en gång för att det läkte vatten från duschkabinen. Det andra rummet som vi bytte till verkade va ok, men ugnen i köket var trasig.

Hotel altamente recomendavel, desde o atendimento na recepcao. A equipe foi muito agradavel e simpatica, aconselho a todos que forem a Milao a ficarem neste apart hotel.

Hotellet ligger omkring 20min med offentlig transport fra Milanos hovedbanegård... Let at finde med Metro og Sporvogn hvis man ikke vil benytte en taxa. Hotellet blev renoveret i 2010 og det mærkes... super lækkert "lejlighed" med soveværelse, stue/køkken og badeværelse... 4 kogeplader, køleskab, fryser og endda vaskemaskine i køkkenet gør det let […] at stå for morgenmaden selv. Under 5 min gang til et supermarked der sælger alle de nødvendige ting (æg, brød, pålæg, drikkevare osv). Desuden byder hotellet på trådløs internet adgang fra værelset (inkluderet i prisen) samt et venlig personale. Hotellet ligger små 10 minuter med sporvogn fra blandt andet den store borg midt i Milano samt centrum af byen hvor domkirken og de store shopping gader ligger. Kan klart anbefales 더 보기

Overall a good hotel to the price. A big apartment with aircondition, kitchen and all you need. The staff is nice but could be better to english. There is too many mosquitos. Godt udgangspunkt hvis familien skal se Milano. Tag sporvognen til centrum og spar besværet med at finde parkeringsplads. Fin, ren og rummelig lejlighed. Kan anbefales.

Sono molto soddisfatta del pernottamento alla Residenza Calvino. L'appartamento nel quale ho alloggiato è decisamente molto ben arredato, confortevole, pratico, pulito, attrezzato di tutti i confort, spazioso e anche molto luminoso. Il personale è molto cordiale e accogliente.

pour 1 nuit ou 2 ça va mais le quartier est triste, le long de la voie ferrée .Autrement chambre spacieuse et propre , grande tv , déco moderne . Grand parking .

Hôtel bien situé proche tramway lignes 12 et 14 Bon accueil, plan de la ville disponible, chambre, petit appartement confortable, très propre, beaucoup placards, déco contemporaine. Excellent pour passer quelques jours à Milan, transport en commun, parking. Super pour une famille car possibilité de faire la cuisine. Très propre et très bien équipé, tant dans la chambre que les parties communes. En cour de rénovation, espérons seulement que les tarifs restent identiques quand la résidence sera terminée.

Agréablement surpris par cet Hôtel. Points forts : - Chambre très agréable, avec son mobilier design entièrement neuf et sa cuisine et salle de bain équipée. - Personnel sympathique. - Wifi et parking gratuit. Points Simple : - Aspect extérieur de l'hôtel (partie encore en construction).
