Perfect loaction right next to all the main Salzburg sights while still being close enough to the train station. The room was cheap, clean, and very nice with beautiful carved wood furniture. perfect distance from city centre, quiet and very pleasant with Alpine style furniture. Highly recommend for people on budget visiting salzburg.

The best part of staying at this neat, basic, tourist-friendly place, with its friendly staff, was its convenience to the Linzergasse leading to Old Salzburg just across the big pedestrian bridge. My room was neat and clean although the bathroom did not have shampoo, and nobody could tell me whether the promised WiFi actually would work in my room (it […] didn't). The worst part was the lack of air conditioning. Guests had to keep their windows open, in some of the hottest weather Salzburg has ever experienced (late August 2010), and this meant that late-night noise from rowdy people coming out of nearby bars came right into the room. This is not an area of town for folks who sleep lightly! I would still recommend the Schwarzes Roessl for travelers on a budget but they should note the downside. 더 보기

This hotel is an overpriced dump. When we arrived the bathroom had not been cleaned. Several of the bathroom fixtures were not functioning. The bathroom floor tiles were cracked and not properly sealed to the floor. The bathroom itself was the size of a closet. The mattresses were hard as rocks. The worse thing about the hotel was the fact that it was […] situated directly next to a night club. This night club played blaring music from 10PM until 2AM every night. Our hotel room literally shook from the noise. This made it impossible to sleep. The best thing about the hotel was its location which is close to the center of Salzburg. No - frills! Value for your money.

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt til i den nye delen av Salzburg, og området er veldig koselig og føltes tryggt. Prisen var veldig overkommelig (i forhold til de andre hotellene i Salzburg). Frokosten på nabokafeen var god. Rommet var lite, men møblert med koselige alpe-inspirerte møbler. Toalett og bad var på gangen, men disse var svært rene, og jeg […] opplevde aldri noe kø der. Det eneste jeg har noe å utsette på er at senga var noe ukomfortabel, med hard madrass og uformelig pute. OG lyden.... det var SVÆRT lydt på rommet. Når mennesker gikk i trappen hørtes det ut som en steppe-session på rommet mitt, den snorkende mannen på naborommet føltes ut som lå i senga mi, og når det gikk noen i rommet over ristet det i taklampa. For mennesker som sover svært lett (som meg selv), er dette en god forutsetning for dårlig nattesøvn. Så alt i alt; hvis man vil ha et billig, rent og koselig hotell sentralt i Salzburg, så er dette å anbefale. Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich wußte zwar, daß die Dusche am Gang ist, damit hätt ich leben können - aber daß das WC auch am Gang war, war für mich nicht angenehm. Hätte ich das vorher gewußt, hätte ich mich nicht eingemietet. Ansonsten war aber alles toll!

Bad og toilet er fælles, - men alting rent og indbydende. Værelset uden TV, men med charmerende møblement, - lyst og indtagende. Beliggenhed og service perfekt.
