Smelly room with an awful pxxx smell in the bathroom

Very unploesant, will NEVER sty there again

This hotel has a great location with an easy access to the Metro, Tram, tour buses. Buffet breakfast was really good. Bit noisy during the night with the other guests going in and out of the exterior bathroom. Personel was very friendly

It was very close to all must see sights. Despite the room being too small, I liked everything else

they clean my room but they forgot to close my door!!!!!!

Poor layout with no public areas having views of waterways. Dark small rooms, but OK given price. Tulip Hotel nextdoor has very good bar and restaurant overlooking waterways... and can sit outside.

A good, clean and comfortable lodging for travelers; informal, 'seaman's home' style including basement pub and pool tables; small restaurant for breakfast. It is a GREAT location at the foot of the Erasmus single spar bridge, directly across from Hotel New York and along the trams leading to Central Station. Maritime Museum is a 10 min walk. This hotel was perfectly located (quite close to Rotterdam Centraal Station (15 mintues walk or a short Metro ride), and a few stops on the Metro from the Ahoy stadium, where we were attending a tennis tournament). We had 2 single rooms (which were actually twins) - they kindly put us next door to each other. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-equipped […] and of a very reasonable size. The breakfast buffet (included in the price) was good (cereal, bread, cold meat/cheese, fruit). The staff were friendly, and (as is normal for The Netherlands) spoke perfect English. Only a 15 min walk or 3 min,7 euro return tram journey from station.Very clean,freindly staff,on the waterfront,nice big breakfast selection of cheeses,meats,breads,boiled eggs,juice. Clean room,free movies.Was worth the wait after a night in Amsterdam hostel dorms!

I stayed 2 nights at the Maritime Hotel in Rotterdam. Good: Location right next to bridge, tram route right across the street, price, free wifi Not so good: shared toilets and showers, room are small (dorm room-ish), a little old. Overall: Can't expect too much for the price, so good for budget traveler.

A pleasant and relaxed place with a good bar and easy acess to transport. Nice to watch the river and the great bridge if you are lucky to get a room with riverview. And good food. The bar close to early! Ed the Norseman

While this is a "budget" hotel, I was certainly impressed with its quality and the hospitality of the staff. The room was larger than most other European, NYC, Chicago hotel rooms I've stayed in, and made up nicely each night. The desk staff were always very friendly, polite, and accommodating. Rotterdam is small, so I was able to walk to the city center […] and the Erasmus MC easily within 10-15mins; also, a public transport stop is very near this hotel. The only complaint I had is that hotels.com's confirmation page told me that payment would be taken on check-out, but the hotel will only take payment on check-in. booked a deluxe twin river view and to be honest it is a nice view of river and eramus bridge lots of boats ships on the water but the room was so basic and small cant make a hot drink in your room and the bathroom or should i say cuboard with shower what a joke.the only thing deluxe is price go elsewhere.

More student dorm than art deco! Pleasant reception staff but rooms were a bit basic, though clean enough! Breakfast was spartan! Well situated and handy for everything.The No 7 tram terminates outside and you can buy a ticket on the tram in cash! This hotel was OK. I've learned that with European hotels you need to drop a star in order to see the US equivalent. Since I've experienced this before, I lowered my expectations going in, and was therefore, satisfied. Don't expect Holiday Inn quality, It's more like a themed Motel 8. It was not. There were some professionals for our same conference staying in the hotel, but it was largely sailors and students that made up the guests. These groups did not cause any problems, and personally, i found the diversity wonderful and fascinating. If an upscale hotel environment is important to you, then this is not it. If you like sailing/boats or being in a really cool neighborhood with good restaurants, then this would be a good choice. BTW, there is a restaurant just down the street on the river with a really neat Turkish 4-course surprise menu. You'll want to make reservations, and it's a little pricy as you can imagine, but it was a wonderful little restaurant. Overall, I had a good time and this hotel, for the most part, met my expectations. My co-worker from the UK had more mixed feelings. The hotel was easy to get to from centraal station. Friendly, welcoming and very helpful staff. The room was clean bright and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very nice with a good selection in the buffet breakfast. Would stay there again if visiting Rotterdam.

Hotel is netjes en goed bereikbaar met OV. Uitzicht vanuit de kamer is minder maar voor 1 nachtje niet relevant. Ontbijt is meer dan goed. Personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Ik zou dit hotel aan anderen aanraden die een verblijf zoeken voor een nachtje. De foto's op de site geven prachtige uitzichten op de Erasmusbrug...maar helaas hebben wij die allen maar gezien als we het hotel verlieten. Wij hadden 3 kamers geboekt en alle drie was het uitzicht op een brandtrap of muur,beetje jammer maar ach voor een nachtje,niet zeuren. Waarschijnlijk […] voor meer geld krijg je pas wat de foto's op de site je laat zien. Kamers waren netjes,alleen jammer van het douchegordijntje en ik vond het licht in de badkamer slecht.Bedden waren ook prima. Het ontbijt vonden wij prima en goed verzorgd. Als ik weer naar Rotterdam ga voor een nacht zal ik er weer boeken maar dan nu wel met de wetenschap dat we een ander uitzicht hebben. 더 보기

Das Hotel Maritim umschliesst das ehmalige Zeemanns House und ist deswegen etwas eigenwillig. Bei der guten Lage direkt an der Maas und Erasmusbrücke hätte das Restaurant eines anderen Hotels sicher eine Aussicht dorthin. Das Restaurant des Hotels Maritim hat leider nur Fenster auf einen dunklen Innenhof und auch die Wege sind etwas verwinkelt. Die […] Zimmer sind sehr sauber und bieten alles, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt braucht und das Frühstück ist unglaublich vielseitig und sehr lecker. Es gibt sogar gebratenen Reis für die asiatischen Gäste. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Serviceorientiert. Ich kann dieses Internationale Hotel mit der hervorragenden Lage in Rotterdam nur jedem empfehlen, der für kurze Zeit eine günstige Unterkunft sucht. Er waren enkele van onze monteurs, ze moesten in een parkeer garage in de buurt de auto parkeren voor €26,- per nacht. de rest was alles in orde.

Ottima la posizione visto anche che proprio davanti vi è la fermata del tram per ogni collegamento con il resto della città. Buona colazione anche se - come sempre in Olanda - un po' carente per la parte docliumi. Hotelkamer was erg simpel. Douche met douchegordijntje, geen uitzicht. Je keek op een dikke buis/afvoer. Omdat ik al vroeg moest vertrekken was er een ontbijtje bij de portier afgegeven met een zakje diepvries brood, een zakje met beleg, eitje en pakje appelsap. Wederom erg simpel.

Billig og greit. Frokosten var høydepunktet. Inkludert i prisen. Ellers helt greit som tilfluktssted under en hektisk forretningsreise.

Um die Stadt zu erkunden, war das Hotel ideal. direkt an der Maas gelegen, unmittelbar am alten Hafen. Sehr schnell war die Innenstadt zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel war ein wenig hellhörig, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr zufriedenstellend!
