"Loved everything about our stay."

Had a comfortable stay for one night at the Nelson. I would recommend this hotel and I would go and stay there again. The room was nicely decorated and set out. Was looking a little tired in places. Not sure if I would stay longer than a couple of nights. Our room was away from the main building which was pleasing as it was a typical pub. "Warm and welcoming"
We stayed in the Avocet room which was comfortable, but small.Good value for money. our stay was for 2 nights in February. It snowed heavily and was very cold outside but the room was lovely and warm. The food was excellent. Disappointed that the room wasn`t cleaned ater the first night.
