"Spectacular views, clean well maintained- staff was ok not the best for service or friendliness. Hotel itself was amazing. Spa staff was friendly and helpful."
"Stunning property, let down by management and privacy issues. OKU Kos is beautiful. The 20m pool is spotless and great for fitness. However, our room's private pool lacked privacy; gaps in the walls allow neighbours to see right in, ruining any chance of skinny-dipping. The beach is stunning with comfy sunbeds, though it gets very windy.Food is a mixed bag. Breakfast is outstanding with perfect poached eggs, and the bar staff serve wonderful cocktails. However, the chef consistently overcooks fish. We had to send a tuna dish back, though they did compensate us with free drinks. Spa treatments are good, but note the hammam and sauna cost extra to turn on.Guest services need major improvement. First, the hotel tried to downgrade our room category pre-arrival, forcing a stressful 3-hour phone call with our travel agent to fix.Second, the Guest Services Manager ignored our pre-arrival emails and only said a brief hello on night three, seeming clueless about our profile.Third, swapping half-board dinner for lunch was a struggle, though a kind receptionist eventually helped us on our final day. Finally, for the World Cup semi-final, they just gave local suggestions instead of offering to make a booking for us. This is not luxury concierge service. It is still a great location for couples or groups, but do not expect true 5-star service."
"Fabulous two night stay at Sunny Villas! All the staff were great and the breakfast was amazing. And the views…….breathtaking. Room was ace too. Family of 5 in premium suite."
"George was very friendly, hotel was well taken care of. However, is about a 10 minute drive from the tourist "nicer" part of Athens. Nonetheless, would still go again without a hesitation."
"The view at Skyfalls was simply amazing. A personal pool right outside your door, the ocean and sunrise can be seen right from the day bed. Such an amazing place in Santorini."
"Our stay at Cresanto Luxury Suites was truly unforgettable.
The hotel is beautiful, spacious, spotless, and exceptionally well maintained. The private pool was perfect, and every detail reflected luxury and comfort. What made this stay extraordinary, however, was the incredible customer service.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our room. While it was very nice, it wasn’t quite what I had envisioned. This trip was especially meaningful because I was honoring the 14th anniversary of my son’s passing. The room and the view meant so much to me—they represented a place where I could feel close to him.
Angela took the time to truly understand what this stay meant to me. She listened with genuine compassion, spoke with the manager, and arranged an upgrade to the most spectacular, spacious suite with a breathtaking view. Standing there, I felt like I could reach the sky and hug my son. It gave me a sense of peace that I will never forget. I will always be grateful to Angela and the entire team for their kindness.
The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes from Fira and around 20 minutes from Oia. I actually loved being in a quieter area—it allowed us to enjoy the beauty of Santorini without the crowds while still being close to everything.
I traveled with my 9-year-old twin daughters, and they were welcomed with so much love. Thank you for all that you have done for us."
"Wow what an unbelievable stay. Nice pool. Large spacious villas. Amazing staff. A special thanks to Pamba, the two Micheal, Sandip, Sandesh and Thanias who really made our stay memorable and special!! Dimitri, the owner, is extremely attentive and always checked in through out our stay which was an added touch.
This hotel is close enough to see everything Santorini has to offer but away from the large crowds. Breakfast is 10/10. I would recommend the iced coffee!! If you need transportation, the hotel does offer shuttle service for a reasonable cost.
Overall we had an amazing time and will certainly be back!!
Many thanks from the Saffron gatherers!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Greece
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Greece is during January, February, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a great value for money experience, consider staying for at least 4 days, as this duration allows you to explore the essential landmarks, delve into the rich history, and appreciate the cultural attractions of the region. With the right planning, you can enjoy Greece's stunning natural beauty and historical sites while keeping your travel expenses in check.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To find last-minute deals in Greece, you may visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you're more likely to see discounted rates on hotels approaching your travel date. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed decisions. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you'll be among the first to know and can book your last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your hotel stay in Greece. For travelers seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll recommend more budget-friendly dates that may help you get a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Greece offers the convenience of proximity to local attractions, but this often comes at a premium price. While urban accommodations can provide easy access to iconic sites, they are more likely to be costly compared to options in smaller towns or rural areas, which tend to be more affordable. For those looking to save on lodging, exploring hotels outside the city center may yield better rates, although it could necessitate additional travel to reach popular destinations. Additionally, considering nearby cities that boast their own unique charm and attractions can lead to budget-friendly options without sacrificing the overall experience.
Best time to go to Greece
Greece has a varied climate due to its size, so the best time to visit depends on the region and your preferences for weather and crowds. April, June, and July are the peak travel months in Greece, attracting a higher number of tourists. During this peak period, the weather is sunny, accompanied by no rainfall. On the other hand, October to December tend to be quieter times to visit, marked by light rainfall and mostly sunny conditions.
