Loved everything about our stay at the Broadway Plaza Hotel. Front desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful as were their two security/doormen. Hotel was nice, room was clean and spacious for our family of 6, beds were very comfortable, and it was located in a very good location. Subway and restaurants were within walking distance, area is busy day and night but we slept without any disturbances. Highly recommend and look forward to our next stay here!

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located right in front of the famous L’industrie Pizza and down the street is Little Italy with many great restaurants. There famous caffe Paradiso is only a 7 min walk and a 5 min walk to Leons bagels! The hotel provided a free water dispenser down in their lobby as well as free coffee and teas. They also provide free yummy croissants in the mornings. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Romer's. We came in on the subway from JFK, and it was about 1 block walk from the subway station. We came to eat food and see the museums, and Hell's Kitchen is ground zero for foodies! We found great places to eat within a 15 minute walking distance. Two things we didn't prepare for. We came to NYC with practically no cash, as we had just come from a recent trip to Europe, where everything is cashless. Tips are still paid in cash in NYC in many...

This is a well maintained property in a safe walkable part of Midtown East. I would def stay here again (I'm tri-state and travel to the city often). One note for non-tech folks, there are no room keys, it's all done on your phone through an app. I've stay at hotels where this was an option, but for this hotel it is the only option. This does allow you to set everything up before arrival (maybe after you have stayed a few times), having said that there was a staff member there to help me through...

The only problem I had was the staff complained when I brought Dunkin Donuts coffee from across the street into the lobby. I’m sorry but when I’m spending $4,000 for a trip I feel like I can get my coffee from anywhere I please They kept saying no outside food or drink

I really enjoyed my stay. If you're looking for a quiet place - this is not it, though. You can hear the street noise. It's New York, after all. Just mentioning this as I noticed it, but quickly got used to it. The location is great. Near subways, restaurants, Broadway. Almost everything is walking distance away. The room is good and a welcome respite from the busy-ness of the city, but we didn't spend much time in it, because there is just way too much to see and do and too little time.

Quite surprised by the hospitality and the cleanliness of the facility. I did not use any of the amenities therefore a neutral rating on that service - overall a great option in a downtown market that is full of middle of the road hotel choices.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in New York
Book for the cheapest times: Traveling on a budget to New York can be a rewarding experience, especially from January to March when hotel rates may drop and offer lower prices. For those looking to explore the city's vibrant landmarks, history, and cultural scene, including theaters, urban attractions, skyscrapers, museums, art galleries, opera houses, and notable architectural sites, planning a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This timeframe allows visitors to immerse themselves in affordable, budget-friendly experiences that provide great value for money.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To find great hotel options in New York, explore the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. To stay updated on flash sales and special last-minute promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com. This way, you could find the best New York hotel deals without missing any savings. Additionally, use the Smart Shopping feature in the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're informed about any price drops or room availability for your last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your days may help you save on your New York hotel stay. Boutique hotels, in particular, can offer a more personalized experience and sometimes a better value for those interested in a unique stay. When you book with Hotels.com, we’ll indicate if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average. If it appears on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates, which could help you find a better deal.
Consider your location: Hotels near downtown generally cost more, but thanks to New York's excellent public transportation system, you might find a more affordable independent hotel farther away that’s still well connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is usually excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
