"This hotel is in a good location as it is close to the train station. You can tell it is an older building, but it is nicely maintained. The rooms are on the smaller side not a lot of storage but for a few days it was fine for us. The biggest criticism I would give is that the bathroom was especially tiny and very tight for two people. The mattress , pillows and air-conditioning were very good. The breakfast buffet was good."
"Great hotel! Clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the AC worked great! The rooms are European, so if you're an American traveler, keep that in mind. They weren't as tiny as most European hotels, but they were on the smaller side. The hotel fridge is very shallow, not big enough for leftovers, only enough depth for cans or water bottles. They also don't have a microwave, so if you're planning on having leftovers, maybe don't. Good location for public transportation if you want to go to Marienplatz, but you can't stay in Marienplatz. Definitely choose the breakfast-included option because it was a delicious treat to come downstairs every morning before you start work or other adventures Munich has to offer. Don't skip those cinnamon rolls, hash browns, and sausage! Highly recommend this hotel!"
"Very clean, staff was very helpful for check in and local tips, great location very easy to walk to all shops, restaurants, festival, bus and trains. As a mother daughter staying alone in another country we felt very safe there. Only thing missing was room service but we did fine without, there was a convenient bar/cafe in lobby."
"The staff and breakfast were great. We also really like the location. However, the A/C in the room did not work very well so the room was a bit warm for our liking which made sleep a bit difficult."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Munich
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Munich is between January and March when hotel prices are typically lower. For a great value trip, consider staying at least 2 to 3 days to fully experience the city’s landmarks, historical sites, and cultural offerings. During your visit, you can explore notable attractions such as museums, stunning architecture, beautiful churches and cathedrals, vibrant shopping areas, and tranquil gardens. This timeframe not only allows you to appreciate the rich heritage of Munich but also helps you save money on accommodations.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Munich, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. To stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com. This way, you could learn about price drops and availability changes for your favorite accommodations. Additionally, use the Smart Shopping feature in the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you make informed decisions for your last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel’s location, star rating, and the time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more affordable stay in a Munich hotel. If you're interested in a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it’s on the higher end, we might suggest alternative dates that could help you find a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying near major attractions or city centers can be convenient, but it often comes with higher prices. For more affordable options, you might look at hotels in less central areas or neighborhoods, which can strike a balance between cost and easy access to the sites you want to see. Independent hotels located a bit further out usually tend to be cheaper and can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
