Great location, nice big space, modern furnishings. Sometimes it took awhile to get a response to messages but the woman who was on site at times was super helpful when we ran into her. Our balcony door didn’t work properly so we were unable to sit at the cute table and chairs outside. But overall a great spot and would definitely recommend it.

Private. Secure. Had everything from coffee, to robes, a full kitchen and more. I highly recommend this place.

We loved Hellenic Vibes. It is right near Monastiraki Square and Ermou street, with the plaka just a short walk away. The hotel is clean and rooms are very visually appealing. The breakfast included in the room price is substantial, you can order eggs on a menu, just ask for it. I recommend staying here - you can’t beat the quality and the location!

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Athens
Book for the cheapest times: For those looking to travel on a budget, the most affordable times to visit Athens are January, February, and December, when hotel prices are lower. To truly appreciate the city's rich history and culture, it's recommended to stay for at least 3 to 4 days. This duration allows for ample time to explore key landmarks, such as museums, historical sites, and monuments, as well as to enjoy the local dining and theater scene. With careful planning, visitors can experience the best of Athens while taking advantage of great value for money.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a variety of options to help you save on your trip to Athens. Start by checking the Dealsopens in new window section for current offers, or explore the Last-Minute Deals area for options that may be available close to your travel date. Additionally, you can enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions. With the Smart Shopping tool available on the app, you're more likely to see a comparison of hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you can make the best decision for your Athens getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your Athens hotel stay. If you're seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personalized atmosphere and sometimes better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Athens's excellent public transportation, you might find a more likely affordable independent hotel further out that’s still well connected. For those looking to explore alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often excellent value for money. Choosing these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
