Excellent location near Mall and MTR. Very personable staff. Great layout of room and outstanding view of harbor. Our suite (#09) had great view of city and harbor, and gave a spectacular view of firework during Chinese New Year (so we didn't need to go to the Bar Lounge to watch the firework). The restaurant had excellent menu and unique dishes. Truly a very enjoyable stay and experience!

I had heard of the high level of service at the Mandarin Oriental, but our expectations were greatly exceeded on our business/leisure stay. The service was unbelievable! The people who cleaned our rooms continued to amaze us by folding our clothes, placing wire ties around my charging cables, replacing 6 complimentary water bottles daily, providing a screen cleaner for my laptop, and our list could go on and on. They would change/fold towels twice a day, and also make/re-make our beds twice a...

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour in June 2025 and have no complaints. The room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed and sofa bed were both comfortable. I've stayed at many hotels in Hong Kong over the last two years. This hotel is pure pleasure. The room was spacious. The pool is fabulous--good size and good sunshine. The staff is friendly. The breakfast was delicious on right on time. Plus, the welcome tea was a wonderful touch. And the location is great and convenient!
I don't often recommend hotels, but this is one I would highly recommend. I am looking forward to the next time I stay here, which hopefully will be soon.

We stayed at the T Hotel because it had a good price, very good reviews and because it was a training hotel school for 15-17 year old students who wanted to work in the hotel industry. If you like young, very polite teens, you will love this place. There are only 30 rooms and many more of that number in the teen staff, and its quite an experience. They try so hard, and although sometimes their English is not so great, if you are patient you will have a memorable experience.

Loved it, ridiculous value. Extremely comfortable for the city (they're all suites) and the style was impeccable. Really liked the Hollywood regency vibe, it was well executed.
It even had a washer dryer in the room, which was great considering how hot it was outside and how quick we went through clothes. The AC worked flawlessly, btw
The lounge and gym were great as well and the staff were super friendly. Even better, it's in an iconic part of the city.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Hong Kong Island
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Hong Kong Island is between May and July, when hotel prices are generally lower. To make the most of your trip, plan to stay for at least 3 to 4 days, which allows you to explore the city's iconic landmarks, rich history, and vibrant culture. During your visit, you can experience stunning skyscrapers, bustling shopping districts, beautiful islands, impressive architecture, and delicious dining options, all of which offer great value for money. Keep an eye out, as prices may drop during this period, making your trip even more affordable.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To explore last-minute hotel deals on Hong Kong Island, visit the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Utilizing the Smart Shopping tool via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to see the best options available. With these features, you could be among the first to know if prices drop or rooms become available for your last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a hotel on Hong Kong Island. If you're interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized experience and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we may suggest more budget-friendly dates to help you discover a great option.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Hong Kong Island's fantastic public transportation system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit farther away that is still well-connected. If you're interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, you can often find great value for your money. Opting for these alternative spots could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
