The only downside was when you book a balcony room overlooking the cathedral, make sure it is above the trees on the street. Our view was obscured so it wasn’t really worth the extra money. A really lovely hotel. We wished we had stayed for our whole trip! Comparable priced hotels in the are half as nice. Staff is fantastic and very helpfully. We left a phone in a cab and the concierge went above and beyond to help us recover it! Hotel is extremely clean and luxurious. The suites opening onto the church really do have that view!! The bells are quiet. The square can be raucous with buskers, but we didn’t mind. Having easy access to the rooftop bar is really a plus. Beds are comfortable. My only complaint is that the breakfast (though delicious) is $30 euros per person which is way overpriced especially if you are eating with kids. There are plenty of breakfast spots close to the hotel. Can’t wait to return!
