Despite the booking information stating that parking was available, we only found out after booking that it was not that simple. We were only able to park at the hotel for half of our stay and had to move our car midway through the weekend.
The room felt very dated. There were marks and scuffs on all the walls, and it could definitely use a fresh coat of paint.
There was almost no water pressure, neither in the shower nor when flushing the toilet.
Every time you sat down on the bed, it sounded like eight springs were breaking.
We booked the most expensive room available, yet our window overlooked the back courtyard where the staff handled rubbish and deliveries. Even though it was 37°C outside, we couldn’t keep the window open because of the constant noise.
That said, we still had a nice weekend and the hotel’s central location in Aarhus was a big plus.
