Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a perfect location. It was a 10 minute from Penn Station and once at hotel a 10 minute walk to Time Square, subway etc. The breakfast was good and all we needed to start the day. Room was bigger than expected and great views from our room on 33rd floor. Will stay again for our next trip to NY.

We loved our stay. The hotel had everything necessary to remain comfortable, especially amazing air conditioning. The location in Midtown makes it easy to walk (if you are willing) or take the subway uptown or downtown. Dylan at the front desk was awesome!!! Employees like Dylan always make people want to return!

Hotel is located in a good area and close to everything. Check in was easy. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. The only issue with This hotel is the elevator situation. At times you wait up to 20 mins just to get to the lobby or to your room. The breakfast is pretty good however it ends at 10am. Overall it’s a pretty good hotel with clean rooms king size beds and cold AC.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were professional, polite, and friendly. Of course the building is dated but no major issues were found. The rooms are small and tight. The elevators were very slow over the weekend. Plan to wait for about 30 minutes when a full house and other days they are fine. I walked down 28 flights of stairs. The location is great and close to everything in walking distance. The breakfast was what I expected for a continental breakfast. The snacks were good. I will stay there again! MaQuis is excellent and deserves a promotion!

The hotel is good, the location is in the center of Manhattan, excellent service, the hotel needs renovation, the elevators are not serviced properly. Mrs. Turiya, Ricardo and Taylor were very nice, excellent room service, the rooms are a bit small, we are already at the hotel for the second time.

As a solo traveller looking for location, comfortable rooms without necessarily luxury and value for money, this hotel has hit all the right spots. If those are important too you, dont look further. The rooms are spacious, exceptionally comfortable beds, a fully functional AC system, with small comforts within reach. The hotel also offers free unlimited bottled water which was particularly useful during summer and spending so much time outdoors. The location is ideal with many attractions a hop skip and a jump away, good public transport, and private taxis on the doorstep. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean (albeit dated) and the amenities are good quality. The only criticism is the lifts are not capasitated sufficiently and often one is out of service, which result in frustrations with extended waiting times.
