Excellent for the price. Bathroom was clean and neat. The house is oldish which kind of brings a decadent charm. Bring warm sleeping clothes. Fantastic for stand up commedy adepts. The neughbourhood is also good. Shops nearby and close to Georgetown.

No.
A $150 deposit you don’t get back. The man was kind enough to let me stay and sort out another room but the energy was not giving anything. There was broken glass walking in the lobby.

It was brief, but pleasant. I don't think the hotel was well lit at night. Otherwise my stay was fine.

The check in process was okay. I complained of a charge made prior to my arrival and the front desk reimbursed it. So, that was good & appreciated! However, the hotel needs to be renovated. Rugs in rooms are dirty and torn and some furniture was broken. The AC is very noisy!
They do have a tavern with comedy shows; the comedian I saw was very good! Overall, would not book a room there again. Owners need to invest in the property and upgrade.

No TV remote. Room was ok for sleep despite that it was above a comedy bar venue. (I was on top floor). Room was good value when compared to other rooms in DC at that time. Needs a refurbish.

Only when you are desperate for a room
very old and run down. The best part of the room was the bathroom which was nice, newer and the shower was great otherwise not good. no plugs ac stunk and the bed needed to be replaced about 25 years ago

Hotel is very old and shabby with a bar downstairs. There is no fridge, no safe and you have to drag cases up the front stairs to get in. There is a small ancient elevator once you got up the 2 sets of stairs to get to reception. Beds are ok, aircon was ok but a bit old & noisy, rooms are small and bathroom tiny with dripping shower. It’s cheap so if you want to stay near DuPont Circle and don’t care about staying in no frills place it’s ok but don’t expect luxury.

Perfect traveling for one day. Long term maybe not. Older property, small rooms.
