This is a really good budget hotel in a central area with lots of amenities. The staff are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. There is the added bonus of a cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs. The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate for a short stay. The communal bathroom is kept very clean and the shower is good with plenty of hot water. I would definately stay here again.

We had a really pleasant stay at Bluedaws Private Hotel. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the whole hotel was kept clean and tidy throughout. The staff were absolutely amazing — very friendly, welcoming and helpful, which really made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was also very nice and a great start to the day. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and felt it was good value for a stay in London. We would definitely consider staying here again and would happily recommend it to others, especially families visiting London.

On arrival met by very friendly staff. Went straight to my room (6th floor- no lift) on arrival nice large room basic furniture and a sink A double bed (requested) and a single. Shower and toilet same floor couple Mt's away. Comfy bed. I didn't have breakfast on offer till 9am. Great location...quite....and very good value for money!! I will be back and will request lower floor!

Room was big enough for family. Staff was extremely helpful. They allowed us to store our luggages without dragging them up the stairs. Good value especially with breakfast included. The only drawback are shared bathrooms. Other guests has left the bathroom dirty on our first night stay. It was cleaned later and it was fine.

The rooms are basic, just sleeping, no tv. Was clean. The staff was very awesome and friendly, willing to help with anything, got there early and the room wasn’t ready. They let us leave our luggage there while we explored the neighborhood until the room was ready. Once the room was ready they let us check in even thought it was before check in time. I would go back to this hotel.

We stayed at Bluedaws for two nights as a girls trip, from Friday to Sunday, and we were so happy with our stay! The room had a beautiful high ceiling and a large window with a lovely view. We were also pleasantly surprised to have the possibility to step out onto a balcony, which was a really nice bonus. The breakfast was simple, but had everything we could wish for, and the service was excellent. The hotel had a very homely and welcoming atmosphere. Sharing a bathroom was absolutely no problem, as it was located very close to our room. But the very best part was the staff. They welcomed us in such a professional and genuinely warm way, always greeted us with a smile, and were available around the clock whenever we needed anything. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily come back! 💙

The location was an easy walk from Paddington Station. Property was exactly what we were looking for, basic, clean accommodations where we could sleep between adventures. Price was amazing. Bonus breakfast meal included was a great start to the day. What made the whole experience though…the staff. Every staff member we encountered was exceptional. They were helpful and really cared, from helping us with luggage up to the 4th floor to giving directions and recommendations on where to go and how to get there, to storing our luggage securely while we explored after checkout. The most amazing thing though, was when we forgot some items behind. They went to Paddington station to try and find us and even had us paged in order to return our items to us. Since we had stopped for lunch we missed them and in the end they kindly shipped our items to the USA after getting in contact with us. Simply above and beyond in service in all ways.

In all our travels we have never found such a delightful staff and such kindness! We thought it would be a dorm with bunk beds and shared bathroom experience but it was actually a Victorian residence with glossy white bannisters, pristine bathrooms aplenty, and thick wall to wall, traditional carpeting that was so clean and soft underfoot and luxurious! True, the rooms had red bunk beds but they were really comfortable and the linens were great quality. The neighborhood is a couple of blocks to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, and 2 blocks from restaurants and local Pubs. The highlight was the staff, obviously chosen by the owner who has been managing this residence for over 50 years! They treated us like family and I noted how each guest was treated with such respect. When I left my wallet at the restaurant nearby they insisted on going in personally to see if it had been found. We had a plane to catch and the restaurant was closed until late afternoon. A staff member told us she would go when they opened and email us if it had been found or not. They found it and mailed it first thing in the morning to our home in Canada! I would recommend this establishment to anyone. They are the kind of people who make travel so meaningful! 10 stars for this marvellous place!

Our stay at Bluedaws was really lovely. On arrival we were immediately welcomed very warmly by the staff and helped to get our suitcases up the stairs to our room. Breakfast was good! We were immediately given a glass of orange juice each and offered some coffee, and it was good coffee too. Simple fare of toast, eggs and bacon with jams and butter. There was cereal available too but the rest is already quite filling so we personally didn't even try anything but the aforementioned items. We arrived a little early one morning and it was no trouble to serve us, and it was done in record time which we were very grateful for as we were on our way out to a tour. Thank you to the friendly chef! The rooms are cosy; the one we stayed in had three beds, a side table with a kettle and coffee bits, and not much else. You share bathrooms that are located at either end of the hall, which takes some getting used to but they are kept so nice and clean that you don't even feel like you're sharing. The bedding was a little frayed, but clean and comfortable. I have to mention that this hotel is marvellously close to Paddington station and it makes getting around London so easy. I also recommend a walk through Hyde Park which isn't far away. There are a few restaurants nearby so if you want to go out for dinner nearby, you don't have to wander far. All in all, good value for money; we will happily come back on a return to London. Thank you!
