Awesome place to stay in the park. Don't skip the rooftop for star gazing. Restaurant was hit or miss. One meal was decent but another was inedible. But it is the best dining option in the park (it is Death Valley after all) Pool is a great respite from the heat.

Very nice classic hotel with beautiful gardens in the center of Death Valley. The building is very well maintained with mid-century period decor and our room was large and comfortable. The spring fed pool is always 80deg and there is a convenient sauna but no hot tub, unfortunately since it’s cold when sun sets. Probably the best place to stay in Death Valley.

Absolutely exceptional. Yes, the location is amazing, yes it is from the '20s (as in 1920s) with a long history and lots of stories. But what impressed us the most were the people. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome. Because of them a stay at this hotel feels like a special event. Gorgeous location, exceptional people.

Nice view, good food. No cold water for drinking from faucets at times- weird! Lots of attractive but highly unsustainable landscaping by the casitas.

6/10 Good

The staff was really nice. We were given a suite on the towers, which was quite large. The problem was that in those days the elevator was out of service and we had to carry two huge suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. Furthermore, there is carpet everywhere and the room smelled a little bit (I think the reason was the old carpet). Overall a good experience in the Death Valley National Park.

8/10 Very good

We had never been to Death Valley before and were anxious to see a few of the selected sights we found intriguing. We were not disappointed and despite having windy conditions we still managed to visit all of the locations we had selected. We stayed at the “The Inn at Death Valley” and there simply isn’t any competition in the area that would hold prices down a bit. It was a comfortable room that needed some upgrades; but not many. The shower and pool towels lacked absorbency and comfort and they were quite harsh next to your body. There was not daily room maintenance service so when we came back from a day of hiking we were a bit disappointed that the bed had not been made and the towels replaced. The dining room food and service were quite good. Reservations a MUST! Many people flew into Las Vegas, where choices for rooms were plentiful, and then drove two hours into Death Valley. We played tennis and swam in the pool and that was wonderful.

We went here for our October birthdays. A truly magical place in Death Valley. Absolutely beautiful. Quiet, beautiful night sky. Our Casita was incredible. Everything was wonderful. Thank you all so much.
