"This was my second stay at Argyle Grrand Hotel at Nairobi Airport. It is an excellent hotel. It is well maintained and kept spotless. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are THE BEST pillows I have ever had at any hotel. They have a subperb buffet with an incredible dessert table. Security and safety are excellent. Their airport shuttle runs when you need them. Staff caters politely to your every need.

"Staff was great and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. There are some restaurants close by that are walkable, but should be cautious. The breakfast buffet is ok and a bit pricey. "

"Overall westland is considered safe and one of the best in Nairobi, but it is still advisable to not venture alone after dark, even coming back at night from the near by malls. "

"The hotel is ideally located in Westlands, close to the Expressway and amenities, while also walkable in the neighbourhood. Good breakfast options, Continental, English, South Asian, and local options, fresh fruit and juices. The staff also went above and beyond, providing access to the room after an overnight flight early morning before check-in as they had availability. "

We scheduled to have a car pick us up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. My wife and I were picked up by a very friendly employee (Antony) who introduced us to his city and taught us about the area during the drive. There was quite a bit of traffic at the time we landed, so the drive to the hotel took almost an hour.
Upon arrival to the hotel, the car was stopped at the gate where dogs sniffed us (and the car) and a few security guards did a search of the vehicle. Once inside the gate,...

I discovered Maison Royale in early April via Expedia and so relieved I did ! I frequently travel to Nairobi and it is now the only place I will stay. The affordable luxury, out-going and excellent staff, and overall commitment to the guests is a combination I so rarely have found in my 25 plus years of traveling. Nairobi is so lucky to have this rare gem ! The 24 hour food service, impeccable rooms, extremely comfy beds/pillows, spacious bathrooms, top of the line fixtures, truly welcoming...

Staff is very warm, kind and helpful, The food is very good and the service is exceptional. Installations are cleaned and well maintained. The only thing is the quality of the coffee, which needs to be improved to match the high level of other beverage and food items.
