Our stay at Grand Majestic exceeded all expectations. We were upgraded top a stunning suite, the bathrooms were huge, excellent shower, lovely bedding, attentive and helpful staff, and we had an amazing meal. We only intended to stay for one night, but extended our stay for a second night because we loved Bologna and were so pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We highly recommend!

The room, service, and location of this hotel were all perfect. It was walking distance to most of the major architectural attractions of Bologna, and surrounded by many fine restaurants. I only ate breakfast one morning, and it was OK. That would be my only slight ding - it was a bit expensive for what it was, and you can find similar food elsewhere that's better, for cheaper. But in the evening, while I didn't eat dinner there, I picked up a dessert the chef made for me that was delicious! The...

We drove from Montespertoli to Bologna. The hotel reception person (Erica) went above and beyond to help us with navigating with the car and parking as there are many restrictions for driving in Bologna. She was excellent! Grazie Mille, Erica!

- clean room
- very comfortable parking
- personnel very professional and friendly
- good variety at breakfast
- only suggestion would be to be allowed to slightly open the window to change air. I am sure you have a good air conditioning system but still it’s something that could be considered

Staff, room, facilities, restaurant, all 5's. Plus free parking, only 10 minutes to airport, and it's immediately off hiway to Firenze. 20 euro taxi to centro. Oh, yeah, the price is right.

This way, you can enjoy great value for your money while experiencing the rich history and beauty that Emilia-Romagna has to offer. Additionally, prices for accommodations may drop during these off-peak months, making it even more affordable for travelers on a budget.

Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. If you're interested in something distinctive, boutique hotels can provide a more personalized experience and might offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit high, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you discover a more affordable option.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Emilia-Romagna can provide unmatched convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. While the allure of being close to local attractions is tempting, accommodations in city centers are more likely to be costly. In contrast, smaller towns and rural areas tend to be more affordable, offering a chance to save on lodging. For those seeking better rates, it may be worth considering hotels just outside the city center, although this could mean additional travel to reach key sights. Additionally, exploring nearby cities that offer rich experiences can also lead to budget-friendly options without sacrificing the charm of the region.
