Mandarava Resort and Spa is beautiful. It is a little oasis tucked into the cliffs of Karon Beach, Phuket Island!! It is close to the beach within walking distance or shuttles that are provided throughout the day. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful (the soaking tub is a delight)!! The breakfast is deliciously yummy with a diverse range of Thai and Western food. The staff are more than accommodating, kind and incredibly helpful. I was wrapping up a separate vacation trip to Phuket and wanted a nice place near the airport for the 3 nights before I could fly out. I found this on Tripadvisor, with a deal from Expedia. In my younger years I worked in hospitality, so I'm a bit jaded about hotels, especially resorts. But I thought I'd go for the experience and am pleased to say that the Slate exceeded all expectations. In over 60 years of travel, I'd be hard pressed to say that I've had better service, cleanliness and meals...

What a wonderful experience at the Nai Harn hotel! The hotel is beautiful and we had an amazing stay here. The rooms are spacious and have a stunning view overlooking the bay. The staff were always so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming but there are many choices. We loved our stay at the Nai Harn and would love to come back!!

Our family of 4 (we have 2 kids aged 3 and 5) stayed 10 nights at this property and absolutely loved it. The villas/suites were stunning with fully equipped kitchens and luxuriously decorated/furnished. The hotel F&B outlets were great and good value and the food quality high. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away and is excellent, with golden sands and warm sea water (with nice waves). The hotel was very family friendly with a great pool and excellent kids club. I enjoyed my stay, check in was smooth and simple. The aesthetics were nice, even did a photoshoot. Breakfast was excellent especially with the omelette station and fresh pancakes. I would of preferred more fruits selection than watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple. I wish they would of had their homeland fruits like mangosteen, dragon fruit..etc The bed was comfy, I had the swim up pool entry room I was in the pool everyday! Outside the hotel you weren’t far from market, restaurants, bars.

Beautiful hotel/lush greenery. Excellent service. Restaurant/cafe food and drinks all very tasty. Nice breakfast buffet. We had a nice second floor unit with balcony facing away from pool that we enjoyed very much. The fitness center is pretty epic, lots of good workouts. Amazing massage. The facilities are however feeling worn, torn cushions on gym equipment, stains on restaurant sofas, shower grout/tile needs cleaning/resealing. Spa areas felt beat up, not well maintained. Very kid friendly,...

If you're coming for a beach holiday, this place may not be for you. But if you're happy sitting by a beautiful pool, looking out overy the sea and soaking in the sun then this hotel is for you.
The staff are great and so helpful, the whole hotel was well maintained and so green all around and it's in a good location in that it's far enough away from the crowds but also close enough to great little restaurants and street food vendors.

The clover hotel is very modern compared to the other hotels in the area, especially for the price! Clover is located in a great location, walking distance to the beach, shops and local food options. 5 minute walk from, “walking street” and 15 minute walk from the pier for all speedboats, tours and island excursions.
The staff is very helpful. The cleaning service is amazing, they don’t wear shoes when entering your room to service. They supply you with whatever you need, at request.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Phuket Province
Book for the cheapest times: Phuket Province offers great value for money, especially for travelers on a budget. The most affordable time to visit is in May, September, and October when hotel prices may drop to lower prices, making your stay more budget-friendly. To fully explore the region's landmarks, history, culture, and natural attractions, it is recommended to spend at least 5 days in Phuket Province. This duration allows you to experience key cultural sites and beautiful natural landscapes at an affordable cost.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: In Phuket Province, you may discover hotel deals by visiting the Dealsopens in new window section on Hotels.com, where you could find discounted stays close to your travel date. For those flexible with their plans, the Last-Minute Deals section may offer big savings on hotels. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app helps you compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see updates on preferred hotels when rooms become available or prices drop. Stay informed with email alerts or push notifications to seize any opportunities to save.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and season, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your Phuket Province hotel stay. Boutique hotels also offer a more personalized experience and might provide better value if you're looking for something unique. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average, and if it appears on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates that could help you find a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities within Phuket Province can certainly provide a level of convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. Hotels and accommodations in these bustling areas tend to be more costly due to their proximity to local attractions and amenities. In contrast, smaller towns and rural regions are generally more likely to be affordable, offering a range of budget-friendly options. For those seeking better rates, it may be worth considering accommodations just outside the city center; however, this could mean a bit of extra travel to reach key sights. Alternatively, exploring nearby cities can also yield a wealth of experiences while keeping costs down, allowing for an enjoyable trip without breaking the bank.
Best time to go to Phuket Province
Phuket Province has a varied climate due to its size, so the best time to visit depends on the region and your preferences for weather and crowds. January, February, and December are the peak travel months in Phuket Province, attracting a higher number of tourists. During this peak period, the weather is mostly sunny, accompanied by no to light rainfall. On the other hand, May, June, and September tend to be quieter times to visit, marked by frequent rainfall and mostly cloudy conditions.
