We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great Mountain View. It’s one of the cutest hotels we’ve stayed in.
I wish there was a drop box for keys, we left early in the morning but the lobby was locked so we couldn’t check out. We left our key in the room and called the hotel at 7 am to let them know. We had already prepaid so it wasn’t a big deal.
Highly recommend this cute little getaway hotel.

We LOVED this hotel! One of our two favorites on this trip so far!
Fashionable, comfortable, great view, and great bathroom!
Only reason I gave them a smile on service is because we never saw anyone lol.
I want to stay there again, and I want the same room!!! 😊😊😊

I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel - our favorite in Iceland. We have traveled through Iceland for 9 days now and this has been, by far, the best hotel. Our room was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the water. The hotel had a kind of museum in it that was interesting and not quite hokey. The staff was terrific, particularly the general manager - very friendly and willing to chat and answer our questions. Food was very good.

I was a little nervous about what the apartment would be like and it exceeded our expectations. Great location, very comfortable, very well stocked, clean and spacious. Highly recommend!

Check-in took about 30 seconds. Check-out took about 10 seconds. Breakfast was not hot but had several protein options and excellent coffee. Our room had a gorgeous view of a glacier.

We found this accommodation to be a pleasant journey off the beaten path! They are doing an additional wing so our room was brand new. The cafe and staff are wonderful!

We stay 2 nights at Aurora Cabin. It is located on Highway 1 and it is easy to find. The Cabin is Cosy and have a nice Kitchen with everything we need to cook for a good meal. We met the Property Owner Ivac on 2nd day. He is nice and helpful. He told us where and when to look for Northern Light. We saw Northern Light that night just outside the Cabin. The Cabin is just a few miles from Hofn where we can buy Grocery We will definitely stay at Aurora Cabin again if we come back to Iceland

Coming into Seydisfjordur was like driving into a fairytale. A stunning area. Checking into this property was the icing on the cake. The property was impeccable. A modern farmhouse feel that was clean and over the top amazing! We all wanted to stay longer, and we would recommend staying a lot longer in this area.

This hotel was awesome. One thing to note, there is an old, historic side (red roof) and a modern addition (left side). We stayed in both - more on that in a moment.
First off, the staff, all of them, are amazing. We were there two nights, morning staff, evening staff, wait staff, every single person was wonderful, We even said something to the hotel manager about how professional everyone was, particularly the front desk. The front deskman who dealt with a s*** storm the day before when...
