I took my two grandsons ages 7 & 8 to Luray Caverns. We spent Friday & Saturday night in Room 13. The boys had a blast. The property has an outdoor pool and swings. The side yard is grassy and a good place to run & play. I felt my grandsons were safe. We made good use of the little refrigerator & microwave. Check in was so easy. The little office building is really cute and the staff is very nice & welcoming. This is a motel room, so it was a little tight with two active boys, but that's why the grassy area & swings are so appealing. This motel is very convenient to the Luray attractions. The view of the mountains is so uplifting. The only downside was the lack of a pot for the coffee maker, and no toilet plunger. Hower, I could do without the coffee maker for two nights, and I managed to unclog the toilet on my own. The bathroom is a nice size, but the kids had trouble with the pull/push faucet handle. We did just fine in our accommodation and had a great time. I will add this, the place was quiet. Very little traffic noise on Rt. 211. No problem sleeping!
