Check-in was easy, the room was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was fine. The only issue was the there was no exterior handle on one of the entrance doors from the parking lot, so guests would prop the door open. This could easily result in unauthorized access to the hotel.

We stayed at La Quinta to break up a long journey, and it did the job just fine. The hotel corridors and rooms are tired and dated, but everything is kept clean and in order. The staff were friendly and fun and we were happy to have a dip in the pool after a long day. Be sure to visit the Sundial Bridge before you leave Reading, it’s a stunning spot and a shame to miss!

They were short on shower matts. It was a really good stay, their breakfast was good and they kept on it to make sure everyone was able to eat. The cattlemens restaurant was right next door they are hooked together and very good food.

Good night stay

Hotel was comfortable and clean. A good place to stay. Breakfast could be improved with better meal selection and presentation. Food was crammed in the same food holder and wasnt refreshed or tended to by kitchen staff. Property is located in a maintained area of town with many national brand stores to shop at within 2 miles of property. There is a Cattleman's steakhouse next door to hotel that serves quality steaks and a variety of other foods.

Staff was very friendly. Weird missing items and random holes. La Quinta doesn’t seem to care about presentation or having all items accounted for. The hairdryer was missing from its holder in the bathroom and strange holes in the furniture/wall, so random.

Front desk staff was friendly at check in and the lobby appeared updated. Upon entering the room we found stained carpets and bedsheets and the room smelled musty. The bathroom floor was covered in hair and the showered was stained and needed deep cleaning. We considered leaving to stay at another hotel but decided to stick it out since we only needed the room for one night. Tried getting a drink at the vending machine, all sold out. Woke up in the morning to a cockroach crawling on the nightstand. Disappointing stay.
