We liked most things about the hotel, including the friendly staff and excellent breakfast choices. One thing we particularly liked was the quiet, cool and efficient AC system. It was welcomed during a very hot week. We also liked the neighborhood, which was just far enough away from the touristy and loud Pigalle area. It's a nice neighborhood with cafes, restaurants and schools.

I loved everything about this place. The staff was so helpful. I will definitely be coming here again. The beds are very comfortable. And the breakfast is just perfect, not too much, but too little, just right. Jenna, in the front desk is amazing. She gave me directions everyday. The area is totally safe. My son and I had so much fun in Paris. We're walking as late as 2:30 am in the morning on the streets. When the train and the bus stop working. There is a little mart down the street that you can purchase water.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Marena...room was very clean and the hospitality was fantastic. Good breakfast but the best was our concierge Eric. He was so pleasant to deal with and very helpful. He made our stay very memorable. The hotel is lucky to have him.

THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE HOTEL!!! I am so grateful that the staff: Sana, Soliman, Harud, Ronaline, and the wonderful cleaning people made us SO HAPPY and comfortable. I usually don’t stay at a hotel twice, but I will definitely return to the Hotel Marena as my teenaged child and I had such a stupendous stay there!

Pleasantly surprised!

We were a group of 3 and were so pleasantly surprised with how clean and comfy this room was! The bedding was excellent, towels super big and soft and it was so clean! The icing on the cake was definitely watching the sunrise over the cathedrals of Notre dame from our room window! Wow!

The Worst Ever in Paris

The rudest staff you will ever see. The receptionists are veeery rude, and the view is terrible. They won't allow you to check in until you pay a €100 guarantee

I think the only problems I have with this hotel is that it smells like smoke, despite being a smoke-free property, the key to my room didn’t work about half the time so I had to go back down to the lobby, and the weird 100€ deposit in case of damage… But otherwise it was well worth the price and actually very sweet to stay in. They provided chocolates, robes, slippers, and carried our luggage to our room. We had a really nice view of the street below and were very close to a good patisserie and a laundry facility. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros - 1. Staff was really great! Helpful & polite. 2. Fair price. 3. Location was cool. Walking distance to some local spots to eat and shop. (Not walking distance to big attractions but that’s what taxis are for.) Cons - very small and no AC. (But expected based on other reviews).

The visit was great and hotel perfect but their after care was a big disappointment I emailed the hotel as I had left a few items in the room they never replied to my emails so a great visit was let down from them which would make me think twice about staying here if they was to reply to this then they have a opportunity to redeem themselves….
