Easy check in. The place has a fresh coat of paint on the outside. There’s a bar on site with a bunch of friendly regulars. You have got to try the blue gator drink.

Great place
I had to book a last minute room here as the previous location I chose did not work out. The Gator Den fit my needs perfectly. I was traveling with my two pets so it was very important that I felt safe about leaving them in the room for a few hours. The only thing was the fees. The room itself was $110 but the fees were an extra $100. Other than that, I’d definitely book again.

While the Motel was clean and comfortable, I had difficulty with the parking situation. Spots are reserved with numbered cones for your room. There is a restaurant next to the motel and the reserved spots were being used by people at the restaurant. Having a super duty truck with a long bed makes parking difficult on a good day. I did look at Google map images prior to booking but when I arrived, I knew that I was going to have issues due to size of truck. I asked for a refund and was told non-refundable. A staff member did move some of their personal vehicles and get me parked. I left to go sight seeing and came back to find that spot occupied again. The staff did handle the situation and some of the restaurant folks came out and left, opening up some parking spots in the restaurant parking area, so I was able to park there for the night. Motel was clean, great water pressure and hot water shower. No desk in room. Room was great. Took about 20 minutes to drive to Crystal Rivers area. No breakfast available. Coffee maker in the room.

Highly recommend!
This is an old-style single level motel from the 50s. It is clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. The beds are comfy, and there is a nice coffee maker. There is also a great restaurant across the parking lot right next to the river where we ate both nights we were there. The manager is super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this motel.

Find a better place
The room looks like in the pictures. The floor was very dirty, the bedding was filthy and covered with the black fur or black human hair, pillows have light gray color, the desk was dirty. It was an extreme noise from the traffic, because this motel is located on the active road. 2 older men on the front desk, before I checked in , promised me that it's not noisy, but it was a lie and I couldn't sleep there. I don't believe these 10/10 reviews are real.

Laid-back, fun stay!
Our room was clean and tidy. Only a minor complaint of a bright exit sign and lack of room darkening curtains kept our lighter than we typically experience. Overall a cool, fun spot that we'll likely stay at again.

Great stay!
Beautiful room! We were visiting friends in Homosassa; we were late checking in but were contacted prior to getting there letting us know the office would be closed but could go to Restaurant/Bar to get key to room. The room was very clean and beautiful, king bed was comfortable; will definitely stay again if in area.

Super nice for the price.!
It was just what we needed. Next door to Blue Gator restaurant where we ate. Close to everything. The only thing is the room needed two small chairs to sit on either to put shoes on, drink coffee or watch tv. I'm not a bed sitter. Super nice!
