Reviews of the hotel were mostly good, so we decided to give it a shot. Some folks talked about how the cleanliness was not up to par, a weird musty smell, or how the place felt dated. We thought the place was clean, charming, and well renovated. We loved the front desk worker Anthony who made us feel right at home and helped us pick local favorites to dine at each night. The location is an easy walk to the French quarter. We would definitely stay here again.

It was great but parking was pricey

The room that we stayed in was very recently updated and was spacious. There were only 2 rooms on each floor on that wing. It was very quiet and comfortable. Location is very convenient to walk to many restaurants and shops.

My stay was very good but the parking was very unreal and wasnt right

Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms were old elegant. The amenities were better then average. Kurig coffee maker, well stocked daily. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was great. They took care of my car and Keenya at the front desk went above and beyond. Great location. Just a few steps from Casino and River walk. Awesome food next door at the Ruby Red Slipper.

Great hotel, but was disappointed by the room. The room had no windows making it feel cluster phobic. Parking is only valet and with two cars, it was pricey. Location is great, and everything is within walking distance.

The commons area are NOT kept up as far as cleanliness. Carpets are stained, wood floor areas had spilled drink - took 3 days for it to be cleaned up. Elevator in back (front was broken) needs a good wiping down and carpet cleaned. It's filthy. The room itself was good, seemed cleaned. Although they only have room cleaning service every 3 days. During Covid...hmm. Beds comfy. A/C defaulted to 63 degrees in middle of night - every night! Staff was adequate, not as friendly as seen in other reviews and definitely not as helpful. EXCEPT the gentleman who did the valet parking when we left - very friendly.
