We stayed in a family room at NH Salzburg for $450 per night. When we opened the sofa bed to get it ready, there were no linens, no pillowcases, and the comforter was bare. We had to call to ask for fresh linens and an extra towel. If they had at least covered the pillow with a case, I wouldnโt have noticed the stains on it (see attached).
It was frustrating because itโs a family room, yet there were only two towels and breakfast for two people. We had already informed them weโd have an extra person and were willing to pay, but it didnโt seem to be reflected in their system. Because of this, we were even stopped at the breakfast area.
I donโt mean to sound picky, but having to ask for so many basic things made me feel like a difficult guest, which I donโt like. Guests can be demanding, but I donโt want to feel like Iโm the โdivaโ asking for so many things.
Otherwise, the room itself was comfortable, and the location was fine. Overall, Iโd give this hotel 3-4 stars, but I hope they can improve on preparing family rooms more thoughtfully in the future, especially considering the price.
