The resort is beautiful! There is plenty to do on site, but it is also conveniently located to many of the historical sites and the downtown area.

This was our first trip to Boar's Head. Denise, at the front desk, was absolutely wonderful and SO very personable and friendly! She made us feel like a king & queen and went well above and beyond to make our first trip a very memorable one. We were upgraded to a big suite with a sitting room, bathroom, and a bedroom. Our suite was very cozy with a gas fireplace, a refrigerator, and a few other amenities. Our bathroom was HUGE and had 2 showers in it, which one had a bathtub with it, in case one of us wanted to soak for a little. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash they offered smelled great and made my hair feel amazing!! The walls were very sturdy and sound proof, as we didn't hear anyone else around us the entire time we were there, but we knew that there were people staying next door. The bed was cozy and plush and I love that the closet was stocked with extra pillows, a fan, and even robes & slippers for us to wear at our leisure. Our only complaint is that the couch in the sitting room had some stains on the cushions and there was a little black mold/mildew build up, under the pump bottles of the shampoo, conditioner, & body wash in the shower. We also enjoyed a couple's massage at the spa & the Winter Wander walk through, though it was absolutely FREEZING the night that we walked it. Our massage was absolutely divine & everyone was so friendly and helpful in the spa. Overall, it was a great first experience and I would highly recommend going to Boar's Head!

Dining rooms offer excellent staff and food. Check in staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms very spacious with two queen beds. Loved the shower. The spa was wonderful. I would have liked a hair dryer in our room. I expect those as standard. Fortunately, for my girls three night stay, my roommate brought one.

Wonderful experience- staff was wonderful and the room had a beautiful view. We bought tickets to the light show and that was absolutely beautiful - will definitely go back.

We got there and found out the on dug restraint wasn’t open. So we search for our room to relax and realize the cable isn’t working. The room was fine but nothing special. I just expected more.

No free coffee

In the main part of the building.. room had a view of the roof. Usually have a nicer room. They no longer have complimentary coffee and tea in the lounge… maybe because of covid… but having to go into breakfast for a $5 cup of coffee seems absurd. The hotel was great otherwise.
