A no-frills hotel, with construction on 3-rd floor where my room was. There were no glasses in the room, not even a plastic one ! There was an Outback restaurant just next door, so that’s somewhat a positive. The breakfast was included, but it was very basic. The hotel needs an upgrade. It is obviously on the older side so some renovations are needed. We had an issue with the drainage in the bathroom sink and shower that had to be reported. The staff fixed the issue temporarily. The breakfast was lacking from what I am used to from La Quinta.

Property was nice , but the lock on the room broke and was it was reported , but nothing was done . My room was unlocked while we were gone for the day ( 3 days ) thankfully nothing we missing . It would have been nice if we were not worried about the lock.

Disgusting.

I was given a room with a door that did not lock. It pushed open without the key card, and instead of s strike plate for the lock, there was a roughly carved out notch in the door jamb. The desk attendant switched my room, but I've never seen a dirtier more rundown hotel, and I've stayed in some seedy ones before. The carpets in the hall were filthy, writing on walls and peeling wallpaper, peeling ceiling stucco, and an overall damp musty smell. My view was a pile of discarded mattresses. The comforter had a cigarette burn in it. The shower never got hot, and there was no hair dryer. The breakfast, at 7am, was a pile of still-frozen pastries.

Clean, very comfortable bed, quiet. Great parklike area to walk dog with waste collection bins. TV didn’t work at first but desk clerk was able to reconnect a plug that had become disconnected. Very comfortable stay. Very helpful & pleasant staff woman in breakfast area to help with anything that may need refilling. The BEST hotel coffee I have ever tasted and I have traveled at lot and coffee is important to me. The $100 deposit was a surprise. It should have been mentioned in the Expedia written description. It was immediately refunded when we checked out. Too nice a hotel to be only 2 stars. We will definitely stay at a La Quinta hotel again.
