It was fabulous as usual. I really love this quaint boutique hotel.

I felt the room was expensive, even by NYC prices, for what you got. CONS: Room only had one USB port, in the clock-radio, and we had at least 3 items that needed charging after traveling. The plug outlet in the bathroom didn't work either. We had to search behind furniture to find outlets to use. We finally unplugged a small table lamp and use its plug. The goofy electrical box mess over the desk, by the lamp outlet, is a hot mess. It should have a cover over it if it is no longer available to use...better yet, add some USB ports! Only one chair in room and no place to hang our coats. It was chilly/rainy and we had to hang our coats on the corner of the mirror. The closet was tiny and our clothes for going out filled it up. The TV didn't work. We turned it on with the remote control and then it wouldn't turn off. The volume and channel changing buttons didn't work. The slippers in the room were tiny and once a robe was used, it wasn't replaced. And finally, on our first day in the room, it was cold. We couldn't figure out how to use the thermostat to work. The front desk wasn't sure if the heat was even available to use yet. It's October and only in the 50's during the day. Hmmmmm... PROS: Pleasant front staff who had "engineer" fix everything wrong in our room that could be fixed. Our room was clean, the water was hot, and the toilet worked! The 2nd floor Library Room with refreshments was wonderful. There was always something to drink.

Great location. 10 minutes from Times Square. The staff can’t do enough for you. The rooms aren’t really large, but the ceilings are unbelievably high, which makes it feel bigger! The bathroom was a great size. The room was beautiful, comfortable and the books give it a cozy feel. The restaurant Madison and Vine is great and the continental breakfast, snacks throughout the day, wine reception each night and a beautiful rooftop bar, make this hotel fantastic!

This hotel is awesome! It really sticks to the theme of a library throughout. Each floor has a theme to it as you would find in a library (ex. social sciences, art, etc.) and each room also has a theme to it that relates to the theme of the floor (ex. the arts floor has rooms based on preforming arts, painting, architecture and others). Each room has books in it based on the theme of the room. Plus the staff is wonderful! It was an overall amazing stay!

Great little hotel with perfect perks and best location.
