호텔 오브 사우스비치 (The Hotel of South Beach)

The only fault we have is the housekeeping service. The maid solelt made the bed and replaced the towels. She did not empty the ice bucket, replenish the shampoo/conditioner/body wash nor was the bathroom floor and shower stall cleaned.

When we arrived we were presented with a twin room even if I booked a double room with king bed. That room had an old smell. Luckily the guy from reception was able to quickly give us another room on the second floor. Here the smell inside the room was ok, but in the hallway you could tell that the neighbors were smoking green stuff. The hotel itself is old from 1930 so you can't expect to be perfect. The room was facing another building and that's why it had a painted window which could slide up only for about 15 cm. So it was very hard to bring fresh air in the room. There's no microwave or fridge in the room, there is a mini bar fridge where it's possible (pretty hard) to put your own drinks or food. The room was cleaned every day and they did a good job. There's also a pool on the roof. We didn't had time to try it but it looks good and it's open until 10 pm. The hotel is close to the beach, you need maximum 10 minutes of walking until a small wood construction from where you can rent a free sunbed because you are a guest of this hotel and an umbrella for 15$. As a conclusion probably there are better hotels in South Beach but at higher prices, at least this one is clean. Regarding South Beach itself I think it is overrated.

Loved the property. Best location in South Beach. Room was very clean- located on addition to property on Ocean Drive within walking distance to the main hotel for rooftop pool access. It's South Beach so expect activity outside- bars, motors revving up, until 2-3am. Ear plugs included with room. Pool is awesome with a full bar with cabana + food - we never made it to the beach. Checked in inside the main lobby and was able to check out of Ocean Ave section when leaving for the cruise. Full service concierge available for support too.

Only one night after a cruise with girlfriend, we arrived at 10 am to store our luggage, and Daniel the front desk clerk gave us a room, a couple free drinks and was just a great guy. Right in the middle if SouthBeach so its pricey, but the customer service made it worth it. Every one at the hotel was supper nice and helpful. I liked the rooftop pool the best.

The stay was awesome love the hotel. Right on the beach no need for a far. Pool was under contruction but they had 2 sister hotel we use. Def going back
