This villa style hotel must have been great back in the day. Today, it is clear that Centara is putting no extra investment into this property. They seem to cut back at every turn, whether it is bathrooms that have rust drippage on the walls, lack of properly stocked rooms upon check in (we had no towels, for example, and when they brought some they only brought one for 2 people), or staff levels that leave you waiting 20+ minutes for the shuttle up the hill to the lobby (we waited 20+ minutes more than once during our 5 night stay). The bones of this place are great, but it clearly is in need of some tender love and care, and the staff do try hard but don't quite cut it (I think it's a management issue). When we checked in our room wasn't available for the first night so we had to stay in a different villa the first night then switch after that, which was very annoying when you just want to check in and relax. The views are very good from their restaurants and from most ocean view villas. However, some of the "ocean views" are more peeks than anything. All in all, this place was available and affordable when we booked it (during the very-busy Chinese New Year period) so I guess our experience explains why. The positives are that it is very close to Patong for night life and Karon beach is fairly accessible (5-10 min walk). all in all a 3 out of 5.

Beautiful villas in nice and calm location. Staff very polite and breakfast is very good, but still I will call it 4* not 5 from condition of rooms.

Absolutely amazing!!!! The food was outstanding. The villas were stunning, clean, well stocked. Very easy to get cabs. Quiet but close to activity. Somewhat like heaven! 5 star!!!

Beautiful view. Very relaxing. 15 min walk to karon. Great shuttle to (only one way) patong or karon. 2 times only daily.
