The hotel offers everything you need, but is a bit dated

good location and value for money

Pros: The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood with all necessities around: a cheese shop, a wine shop, supermarket, coffee shop, bakery, etc. Extremely convenient. A nice stroll takes you to the Place de Bastille, and the subway station is just across the street. Very good wifi, very pleasant front desk staff. We got a room with a balcony which was nice. Cons: As it sometimes happens, pictures look nicer than reality. The room had a bit of disheveled feeling, with parts of the plaster on the walls falling apart, old plastic coffee cups, etc. We had an accident with condensation from the windows: the curtains were soaked with dew and there was a puddle on the floor in the morning which unfortunately reached to my backpack which was all wet, but fortunately did not ruined my laptop… So just be aware of how physics work in the rooms 😊

The room itself was fine. The pictures make it look much better than it is though. There were 3 if us and while the listing said 3 beds, it didn’t note that one was a pull out bed. So it wasn’t comfortable. But it was nice that the room came with 2 full bathrooms. The shower door was not very clean since there were water stains in both bathrooms. It didn’t feel very clean. There was no air conditioning, just fans, which was quite uncomfortable. Not ceiling fans, the kind you buy for $25. I believe it was because it was about a week Fashion Week and we needed a room at the last minute, the rate was ridiculous and we payed well over what they normally charge. BUT, I didn’t catch his name, but the gentleman at the front desk was very nice and friendly. He offered a lot of help with getting to sites and things to do. The location is great. Easy access to the subway.

This place was good for the price but the room smelt a lot like cleaning supplies. Loved the terrace we had. That was the best part.
