Very clean and nice property. We mostly wanted to have good sleep at this point in our trip, and the hotel delivered with good blackout curtains and a quiet environment. Excellent place to enjoy Firenze without having to endure the crowds. Nicely situated on the Arno, complete with a fantastic restaurant and helpful and friendly staff. This is my second time to the Villa and I would return. Take one of the bikes available and explore Firenze.

Excellent five-star hotel. Exemplary staff and service; delicious meals; clean and modern rooms. Located on the Arno, this hotel is everything a Florence stop should be. Use one of the hotel's bicyles to ride into Florence. It's a nice ride alongside the river and a very convenient way to get around town.

Lovely hotel right on the river Arno. 1.5 mile walk to town but hotel has a great shuttle service and the bus stop is also only a few minutes walk. Breakfast was really nice, staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Spa area was really nice, used it three times during our stay, one hour included per day, pool with jets, sauna and steam room. Had it to ourselves each time as we were there in low season. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Florence.

Nice property. Decent room, but pay attention to room choice. My room, a suite, only had one small window overlooking the river. Some of the staff members are fantastic and others not. While marketed as a 5 star hotel, it is a mid 4 star hotel. While it has parking, it can only accommodate a few cars and street parking is rough. I had some day trips to do so parking for a rental was important. Otherwise I would have stayed in town center.

Excellent property that has the feel of a quiet relaxing resort with a pool that is useful on hot Tuscan summers. The location is a good half hour walk along the Arno River. The hotel does provide a van service, but return time ends too early and you have rely on a taxi, which can be difficult to find.

Beautiful setting along the river. Great restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Spacious room, clean, well maintained and beautiful furnishings. Only thing not amazing were the pillows which were a little flat. Staff was very helpful and helped me retrieve my cell phone from a taxi that I left it in - avoided a huge inconvenient tragedy! My wife wants to go back and the rest of our trip now is being measured against this hotel..
