This hotel was very tired. Carpet in the room was wrinkled, not laying flat. Bed was very soft and well used. It was just OK.

On our way to 1000 islands....
We've stay here many times before and its our go to in Rochester to stay as we travel to the 1000 islands from Michigan. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

My summer vacation
Clean,walk in shower. Everything was easy from checkin to checkout. Could hear alot from the second floor. Walking around.
Food was good,hot. This was the best stay in recent memory.

Clean and comfortable!
Comfortable, clean rooms with good customer service. We were very comfortable and I give a definite 5 stars for cleanliness. We will stay here again. The location is good, other than trying to take a left out of the property during rush hour. I had to adjust our reservation to add a day and the staff at the front desk were super helpful. Also, the staff are very attentive to keeping the breakfast area well stocked and clean.

Our air conditioner was not working in our room on a 92 degree day. The front desk clerk claimed the hotel was full so we could not change rooms. I requested a fan and a partial refund for the inconvenience and the fact that I paid $240 for a room that I booked expecting A/C. The clerk said sheโd reach out to her manager regarding my partial refund request.
9:30 PM that evening, I was denied my partial refund and offered another room! That was my original request shortly after check in when they claimed the hotel was full! By that time of the night, my daughter was asleep therefore we did not move. It was an unpleasant sleepiness, hot night!
The next morning at 8:55am a maid walked into our room without knocking and the โdo not disturbโ sign was on the door. I reported that incident to the front desk upon check out and the clerk told me she had me โchecked outโ already, thatโs why the maid entered my room. I was obviously not checked out as I was standing right there requesting to check out! I was not even offered an apology. Terrible customer service; not even a simple ,
โ Iโm sorry for the misunderstandingโ.

Staff is not friendly
This hotel was fine for two nights with my kids. Breakfast was one of the better things about this hotel. Rooms smell musty and have the bare minimum essentials needed. Front desk people are not friendly and no one working there smiles. They just look unhappy and annoyed. No elevator in the Lodge which was fine for us but could be an issue for others. I probably wouldnโt stay here again.

Temporary One night Trip
Stayed for one night. The room was in perfect condition. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Everything was top notch and easy check in and out.
